The Formless
The formless is ruling your life. The formless is ruling the world. And there is a greater formlessness that is ruling the entire creation. And you are the center of that greater formlessness, whatever you call it---God, Consciousness, No-Mind, Nirvana, Spirit, anything you call it by name.

Sorrow
Sorrow needs to be lived through and gotten rid of. It should not be suppressed.

Love and Hate
Love cannot tolerate distance, and hatred cannot tolerate nearness.

Meditation and Death
Meditation is very similar to this experience of void. In meditation you realize you are not just the body, but you are more than the body. That annihilates the fear of death.

God Loves Fun
Nature loves to give you surprises. God loves fun. He always gives you surprises---sometimes pleasant, sometimes unpleasant. And you grow by unpleasant as well as by pleasant. In fact you grow much more by unpleasant surprises than the pleasant ones.

Observe, Don't Identify
Observe the tendencies that come up in you, and do not think you *are* those tendencies.

The Way Out of Ignorance
The way to come out of ignorance is a definite understanding, a definite knowledge in the mind, that my body is undergoing change all the time, the world is undergoing change all the time, the entire universe is in a state of fluidity and it is all full of change and it is going on on its own, according to its nature.

Knowledge about Self
This body is all hollow and empty, and every particle in this body is changing, and changing, and see this definite knowledge, that I am not the body, I am the Self, I am the space, I am the Imperishable, untouched, untainted by the "prakriti," by this world around me.

A Point In Us
There is a point in us that will remain ever pure, total joy, and bliss---bliss that can never be taken away from us.

Untouched
The very purpose for being in this body, for every one of us, is to live and rejoice in that virgin area, that untouched, pure and ever green, blissful area of our Self.

Intense Joy
When we get in touch with the source of life, then all of other tensions, worries which have been clouding this manifestation, fall off and we can sing, dance, and be happy. Life can become very intense, intense in the sense of being joyful.

What do you Want in Life?
What is it that one wants in life? It is joy, is love. And that is one's very nature.

No Way
There is no way---not by any action or by words---that you can ever convince anybody that you really love them. The more we try to do it, the more we are doing the contrary.

All Pain
That feverishness to achieve what you want is all painful. When you have it, the fear of losing it is painful. When it is gone, the memory of its joy is painful. So the whole thing is all pain!

Spiritual Practices..
If you do spiritual practices, to do that needs an effort---that is painful.

Don't Get Lost
The whole world is here for you to enjoy, but when enjoying, don't forget your SELF.

Dynamic
Everything in this universe is dynamic. There is nothing that is static.

Pleasure & Pain
This entire universe is there to give you pleasure and release. Whatever gives you pleasure should also give relief. Otherwise, the very pleasure becomes pain.

Too Much
The same thing which gave you pleasure is now making you suffer. If you are forced to eat twenty apple pies you will hold your head and say, "Oh my God! I want relief from this. I want to get away from this! Enough is enough!"

Self Is the Center
The Self is the center of the whole creation.

Every Inch Filled with Bliss
For one who has awakened in knowledge, there is no more suffering. The world appears completely different. For him every inch of this creation is filled with bliss, is a part of the Self.

Deep into yourself
The Divine is only waiting for you to dig a little deeper into yourself, that is all.

The Sattvic Intellect
The sattvic intellect is one that just does the job joyfully and is unmindful of the results. Let things happen or not happen---either way they don't lose their enthusiasm.

Lack of Understanding
Lack of understanding of life causes fear. People are afraid of love, people are afraid of meditation, people are afraid of death, people are afraid of themselves.
Ignorance, lack of awareness, is cause of fear. Just a glimpse of the Being, of the
Self that you are, that you are beyond death, roots out the fear totally.

Knowledge of Death
Knowledge of death makes you immortal. It's wrong to even say, "makes you immortal." It makes you aware that you are immortal, anyway.

Time, Mind and Samadhi
When the mind is happy, it expands; then time feels too short. When the mind is unhappy, it contracts; then time feels too long. When the mind is in equanimity, it transcends time.

Pain
Every pain that you undergo in this process is for the higher growth. A seed has pain to sprout, and a sprout has pain to become bigger.

Play
This entire creation is rejoicing in you. Because, it is a play, it is a game. It's not a serious something that is judged and punished.

Nectar and Poison
In every breath there is Divine nectar. There is nectar that flows out of it. Or poison can flow.

You sit and think
you sit and feel. Do you think that feeling just remains with you? It reaches far beyond this universe.

Root cause of Depression
Be active, but not obsessed with or feverish about fulfilling desires because that is the root cause of depression. If you are depressed, underneath the depression, is a lingering desire.

Looking Ahead
Where will we be in 5,000 years? What is going to happen in 5,000 years? Have a bigger plan! In 10,000 years, what is going to happen? Where will you be?

Problems
Many problems have come, many problems have been solved, and each problem has enriched life in some way, has brought up some strength in you.

The Perpetual Dance
In nature, both destruction and creation are complementary. They are two steps---like day and night. All opposite values in nature, they all dance together. It has been that way since the beginning. It'll continue 'til the end.

However it is...
Your life, itself, is a celebration of the Infinity, the Divine---however it is.

Listen from Your Heart
We have this ability, but we have forgotten to listen from our heart. That is why we are tense and worried and dull and dry---we feel dry in life. The joy comes when we can listen from our heart.

Head and Heart
Use your brain, it's necessary. Use your brain. I'm not saying shut off your brain and only live in the heart all the time, no. It has its function. But it is possible that we have shut off functioning from the heart and we are stuck in the head---that is another extreme.

Depression
Yoga is to realize that your mind is dynamic, your life is dynamic. Depression is a sign of static understanding about life. When you feel everything in life is dead, static, there is nothing more, nowhere to go - that is when one gets depressed.

This Creation
The world is not a dead place, the creation is not a dead place. It is solidified consciousness, and it is dynamic. And it is new.

A Devotee
A devotee is not there even for wisdom. He simply is in love. He has fallen in deep love with the master, with the infinity, with God. He doesn't care whether he gets enlightened or not.

Devotee
A devotee will never fall. He cannot fall. There is no chance for it.

Every Stop
For every stop, the previous phase has to be dissolved. One phase is dissolved to give space for another, and it is always evolutionary. So there is no reverting back, no reversing - it is evolutionary. It can stop for a while, but then it continues.

Heart and Head
When heart speaks and heart listens, harmony is produced. It is always so. When head talks and head listens, argument is produced.

Disagreement
Whether you agree with me or disagree with me, what does it matter to what is? What is, is

Sound and Silence
When you listen, listen to something more. Not just to the sound, but to the silence, too.

It's not the action
It's not the action.. it is the state of your Being, the intention deep inside from which you act, that makes a difference

Look Inside Another
You may not like somebody's action, what they do, but look into that Divine love that is deep inside them.

No Going Back
For every step, the previous phase has to be disolved. One phase disolves to give space for another, and it is always evolutionary. So there is no reverting back, no reversing---it is evolutionary. It can stop for a while, but then it continues.

Tumhara jeevan, swayam, Anant, Ishvar, ka utsav hai ---jaise bhi ho.

Go Ahead!
There is a song deep inside you. You are born to sing a song and you are preparing. You are moving around in the stage with your dresses, but you are forgetting to sing---holding the mike, too, but you are keeping silent. 'Til that time, you'll be restless---until you can sing that song which you have come on the stage to sing. Doesn't matter if you feel a little out of tune for one minute or two. Go ahead. Sing.

Recognize the Divinity
When you move in the world, recognize the Divinity in things around you, in people around you. Listen with your heart.

Unlimited Joy
This is quite natural: your mind is not satisfied with limited joy. It wants unlimited joy. The desire of every mind is to go to the source where it is unlimited joy.

Floating in the Ocean
We are all floating bodies, like shells in the ocean of life.

Inseparable
You cannot separate the wave from the ocean.

Not the Body
The life of a fish is in the water, not in the body.

Life is a Vast Ocean
Observe that there is something much more than your "doership." It is like a vast ocean. Life is not just in your body. It is between you and me and everybody else.

Observe
I'm not saying, "Don't be active." I'm saying, observe the spontaneity of action.

Birds' Song
Have you ever observed birds singing and felt this is something so eternal---it's the Divine who is singing through these birds?

Heart is your home
Listen from your heart. Soak into it. Observe. That is your home. And your brain, your intellect is like a car, it's the motor that drives you there. But even after getting into your garage if you refuse to step out, you wont reach home.

Let Me Share
Attaining the highest, one never feels, "Oh, I have attained, let me sit back." No, the very nature of the highest joy is to share, is to bring it to everyone.

Bhajan
In every little mind, different thoughts come and different moods are there. But, when we sing, what happens?
When we all sing same song, it resonates in the mind. Singing is called bhajan because you can share it very easily with everybody. Same sound is in every consciousness. Similarly laughing is also a bhajan if everyone is laughing. Have a sense of one-ness with everything-trees, animals, sky, mountains, people. Sharing your life is bhajan. Bhajan means sharing. Sharing that which the Divine is.

Mere presence
The mere presence of the sun brings all the activity in the world. In the same way, your mere presence is a service, is the goal. There is no gain, no loss, no purpose, no defeat.

Awareness
Thoughts simply arise - but you choose to act or not act. This is what awareness brings in you. If you are not aware, you simply act on the strongest impulse or strongest thought.

Expand
The nature of joy is to share, to expand, to stretch.

Fountain of Joy
Each of the senses lead you to a point deep inside you that is the fountain of joy. Whether touch, sex, or sight, or music, or smell, or taste - the joy that is coming to you is coming from a source deep within.

This One Thing
If trust, this one thing, happens in us, our life will completely be transformed. It'll be very, very different. You won't sit and worry---what will happen to you, what about tomorrow---this will not happen. You'll smile through life.

Superficial Trust
Our trust is very superficial. It's just a covering for our fears. We are afraid and we don't want to feel that way, so we force the trust on us. We think we have trusted, and when the time comes it falls apart

Mind and Body
Our senses have a limited capacity to enjoy, but the desire in the mind to enjoy is infinite. This is where opposition begins: the mind wants to enjoy, but your body is too tired to enjoy.

Lift up---look into that vastness of the creation
Our head is stuck inside a drum, and we think that is the sky. It is so vast, our universe. lift your head up and look into that vastness of the creation.

Ultimate Flowering
Love is the ultimate flowering, and you cannot force it to happen. It is a gift to you, again, it's a gift to you. It's a happening, a spontaneous phenomenon. Ahh - we can drop all the obstacles that we might put for it to happen.

Breath is the Link
Breath is the link between your body and your spirit and your mind.

Celebration
Celebration happens when the mind unites with the spirit.

Love
Love is a happening, a phenomenon. Can you create love inside you? It is not possible

Wake up and Realize
Wake up and realize this is all made up of thoughts, just thoughts, just thoughts. Your appreciation of beauty is a thought, your aversion to an object that is ugly is a thought. Your craving or aversion is nothing but a passing thought in the mind. Realize this is just a thought and you will be free.

Compassion or Forgiveness
Compassion is better than forgiveness. The very word "forgiveness" implies that there is an intention in somebody's mistake. Somebody is bad so you are going to "forgive" them. Peep into their heart. Go beyond their words, beyond their behavior---you will see, they need compassion, they need help.

Mistakes
When something wrong happens, we either blame ourselves or blame somebody else. We don't just take things as they are, we want to find out a reason, and label it, and put the blame on somebody else. Or, on ourselves.

Wake up & Realize
Wake up and realize this is all made up of thoughts, just thoughts, just thoughts. Your appreciation of beauty is a thought, your aversion to an object that is ugly is a thought. Your craving or aversion is nothing but a passing thought in the mind. Realize this is just a thought and you will be free.

When You Let Go
Regret piles up and piles up and it becomes so big---and you blow up. Do you see this happening to you? When you let go, your mind can be in the present moment, more and more and more and more. You are able to smile and laugh from the depth of your heart. Life becomes more light and easy.

concepts
Your own concepts have created "walls" and so you need a "door." But when there are no concepts, there are no walls.

Past or Future
Observe your mind---it's either in the past or in the future. Do you see that? We regret the past and are anxious about the future.

Emotions and Sensations
Every mood of mind, every wave of emotion in us, has a corresponding rhythym in the breath. And this rhythym in the breath has a corresponding sensation in different parts of the body. They're all linked. And when we look at them, observe them, then life becomes more integrated.

Getting old
Though you may feel, "I am going to die, I am old getting old," - this is superficial. Deep down inside you, you know for sure you are not.

Feel the Presence
In the presence of one who is so quiet, you can feel a Presence. It's not an intellectual something, but in an experiential way you feel a Presence. It's very subtle.

Illusion
The self as a different entity, an object, is what people are trying to see. That is an illusion.

Real Game
When "winning" and "losing" don't have any meaning, that is when the real game happens, play happens. Otherwise it is war. War has a significance for winning or losing.

Gain
The entire universe is one whole; and, when someone drops their holding onto limited boundaries, then what they gain is the entire universe.

Govind
When you live in Love, you become so mysterious! That is Govinda. 'Govind' means one who has hidden knowledge, or one who cannot be explained in words, is beyond the words.

See love even where it isn't
Even if people don't like or love you, from your side you consider that they do love you, so that your love, at least, gets protected. Otherwise, when you think somebody doesn't love you, then you will also stop loving them.

Feelings
If you feel you are free, you are free. If you feel you are bound, you are bound.

Meditation
Meditation is THE comfort in Life.

Being Natural
When you are natural, when you don't pretend, then you are very close to the Divine.

Effort won't work
The moment you make an effort to love somebody or to be happy, you cannot.

Love is beyond..
You are made up of both your father and mother; so, within you you have both the characteristics of mother and father, male and female. There are many men who have motherly qualities in them, feminine qualities in them. And then, there are many women who have more male qualities in them. Love is beyond the qualities; Love is beyond male or female. It is not just limited to body or emotions. It is something that transcends all these identifications.

Bondage
The craving for sense objects is bondage. Their existence seems to have given you a little pleasure, so it binds you. Now you crave for it, and it gives you more and more pain.

Trust
The entire world lives on trust. Every aspect in life moves with trust.

Perfection
There is perfection in Nature. You only have to look through a different eye.

Self
The self as a different entity, an object, is what people are trying to see. That is an illusion.

Doubt
You doubt in the positivity of people, in the goodness of people. You don't doubt in the negativity, or badness, in the people. Do you? Have you ever doubted in somebody's anger toward you? Have you ever said, "Is she really angry"

More Doubt
Just examine, what do you doubt? You doubt always in something good---whether it is in you or in someone else. When you are depressed, you never doubt your depression, but when you are happy you doubt: "Am I really happy? Is this really what I want?" And then you say, "I'm not sure..."

Still More Doubt
In order to trust, you must first understand your doubt. You doubt yourself, and you doubt people around you. And then you doubt in the existence of God.

Conditional Love
We try to hold on to people. Even when we love, we love with a condition: "See, I love you, so in return you must love me."

Compassion
When there is a wound deep inside a person, he will try to share that with other people. What else can he do? You just recognize: "Oh, he needs compassion." Compassion is the only medicine. Unconditional love is the only treatment

Possession
We want to possess love, and in the act of possessing, we destroy love.

Feverishness
The feverishness in us destroys the joy.

Expansion
Love is expansion. You can't but love, because you want to expand! And nature of life is to expand.

Give some space ..

Give some space for attraction. When attraction dies out, you will feel love has also died. A space is needed for attraction. And that attraction matures and becomes love; and the love matures and becomes devotion.

When you resist, it persists...
Some feeling came into you, unpleasant feeling, and you said, "Should not come, it should not come!" Doing that, you are resisting it. When you resist, it persists. Just observe. See, "Oh!" Go deep into it. Dance, stand up on your feet and dance. Be intoxicated; move intoxicated.

Look at what you have.
Just look at what you have. Focus on it---because where you put your energy that increases in life.

Thirst for Eternal
Feelings change, thoughts change, ideas change, body is undergoing changes all the time. But the thirst deep within us is for something that is not changing, that is eternal, that is always, that is the same.

Guru is
Infinity is available, but not tangible; the Guru is both infinite and tangible. The Divine is impersonal; the Guru is both personal and Divine - the impersonal personified for your benefit.

Don't look at lack
Don't look at the lack in your life. See what you have. Then abundance increases.

Abundance is a state of mind
Abundance is a state of mind within you. If you just look at "lack," the lack increases in life.

Heart of Divine
There is a place for everybody in the heart of the Divine.

Arrogance
The only thing that God doesn't tolerate is arrogance.

How to drain love
We keep on challenging: "Do you really love me? If you really love me then you won't do like this. You should be doing this way." When we keep some such measuring rods, then we are draining love.

Worship
The best "puja," the best form of worship, is to be happy, to be grateful.

If somebody doesn't love you..
Even if somebody doesn't love you, just go and tell them, "Oh, I know you love me so much." Tell them five or six times see the change in them. Even if they don't love you, they'll start.

Steadiness
When you sit for meditation, are your eyes steady? Is your breath steady? Is the prana haphazard? Is it going smooth and steady or going haphazard? When the senses are steady, the soul also becomes peaceful. Your Being, your spirit inside you, becomes steady.

Signs of Celebration
Everything in this creation is a sign of celebration.

Looking for the Unseen
A hand unseen is behind this creation, and every pair of eyes is looking for that hand, which is not seen. Wherever one looks, one is looking for that hand which is behind and unseen.

Purpose of a Flower
If a flower does not remind you of the eternal Truth, then it has not fulfilled its purpose.

If you don't see Him
If you don't see Him in the laughter of a child, then you have never heard the laughter of a child. If you have never seen Him in the twinkle of an eye, in the wink of an eye of a youth, you have never observed the real beauty.

Guilt and Forgiveness
If you make someone feel guilty about their mistake, then you have not forgiven them. That guilt itself is a punishment

Real Forgiveness
Your forgiveness should be such that the person who is being forgiven does not even know that you are forgiving them. They don't even feel guilty of a mistake. That is the right type of forgiveness.

A Wall of Pride
If you want to grow in Divine Love, you have got to drop the pride and all of the artificial wall we build between ourselves and others. In the "wall" we keep judging others, and we think others are judging us.

Samadhi
Though you exist with a body, in the state of samadhi you are not there at all. In other words you can say, live as though you don't exist--this is samadhi.

Be Proud of Love
Be proud of the Love. Have you ever been proud of Love? That is beautiful. Be proud of the Love that the Nature is giving to you, the Divine is giving to you, the people are giving to you.

Take Life as a Play
Take life not serious. If you take life very serious, then you are bound to be disturbed. The only way you can maintain your equanimity is to take it as a play, as a game, and not take anything too serious.

Seer, Seen and Process of Seeing
The seers, the seen, and the process of seeing all merge. The knowledge, the knower, and the known, they all merge, become one---that is Divine Love.

Drop it!
To live totally in the present moment, offer all that you have done, all your activities. Drop them, surrender them. It's done. Finished. Drop it.

Desire for the Highest
Make your desire bigger. Desire for the highest. Don't go for anything smaller than that. Hm? Then also Divine Love dawns in you.

Applause
If ten thousand people applaud you---so what? You think you will be in their mind, in their attention, forever? No. You will get big applause, and they clap, and they go away. And, the same people, some other time may talk ill of you, too.

Fame
This feverishness of fame, of pride, of social recognition is immaturity. Just wake up and see there is nothing much in it. Its an empty bowl.

Demanding

When you demand love, you are destroying love.

Separateness
The ego is simply an illusion. "Ego" means separateness, that's all.

As long as there is ego, there is no Divine Love
As long as there is ego, there is no Divine Love and when there is Divine Love, the ego---there is no sign of it.

The Pain of Separation
Longing, the pain of separation, increases the love in you. That increases the prayerfulness in you.

Loving Objects
A person who cannot love people, starts loving objects.

Closing Down
Our love---capacity to love---everybody has, but they have not utilized it. We have not thrown ourselves open. We have closed into our small, "my, my, me, me, mine."

Love is sharing
love is expansion. You can't but love, because you want to expand! And nature of life is to expand.

Feverishness
The feverishness in us destroys the joy.

Void of Feverishness
This intoxicating Love does not excite you, but brings a cooling influence in you. It's such a peaceful, restful Love. It's something void of the feverishness.

The Ultimate Flowering
Love is the ultimate flowering, and you cannot force it to happen. It is a gift to you, again, it's a gift to you. It's a happening, a spontaneous phenomenon. Ahh---we can drop all the obstacles that we might put for it to happen.

Life Everywhere
Everywhere in creation, it's all filled with life, life, life---everywhere.

He searches for you, wherever you are
God comes and searches for you. He'll search, and he will take you wherever you are.

Longing and Love
There can't be love without longing and there can't be longing without love.

love is a happening, a phenomenon.
Can you create love inside you? It is not possible

Ego dissolves like the dew drops with the sun.
When there is Love, there is no ego

Longing
Longing is part of love, is the other face of love.

We want to possess love
In the act of possessing, we destroy love.

Nearness and Distance
Love cannot tolerate distance, and hatred cannot tolerate nearness.

The Ultimate Prerequisite
When there is no peace, forget about God, forget about Truth, forget about Divinity, forget about everything else. The first requirement is peace.

Celebration
Celebration happens when the mind unites with the spirit.

Little and Big
Within this small body, you are able to experience the infinite space.

Ego Trip
Someone experiences bliss, and that bliss, itself, becomes a trip for the ego. So the ego, in turn, destroys the infinity, the joy, the bliss.

Love Sustains Bliss
Love can sustain the bliss.

Pause
Just singing is not sufficient. One can just go on singing. But in between the songs, a few moments of silence, of depth, of experiencing the bliss of the infinite---that is very essential.

Churning the Mind
Life is the process of "churning." Your mind is being churned by so many things, events happening. Your mind is churned and churned and churned, and finally, the "butter" comes---it's the sainthood, the saintliness in you.

Fear
Fear is lack of love. Only one thing can eliminate fear---that is love.

Demands on God
God is not there just to fulfill your petty demands.

A devotee is not there even for wisdom. He simply is in love. He has fallen in deep love with the master, with the infinity, with God. He doesnt care whether he gets enlightened or not.

Tears of Gratitude
Devotion is very beautiful. A student comes to a master, a teacher, a guru, with tears in his eyes, there is so much problems. And when he leaves he carries the same tears, but the quality of the tear is different its of gratitude. Still tears flow, but they are of gratitude, of love.

In-Fallable!
A devotee will never fall. He cannot fall. There is no chance for it.

Worry
Worry is a product of loving something that is not permanent, that is not eternal.

Fear
Fear is lack of love. Only one thing can eliminate fear---that is love.

Yoga vs. Depression
Yoga is to realize that your mind is dynamic, your life is dynamic. Depression is a sign of static understanding about life. When you feel everything in life is dead, static, there is nothing more, nowhere to go---that is when one gets depressed.

The world is not a dead place
the creation is not a dead place. It is solidified consciousness, and it is dynamic. And it is new.

The mind has promised you heaven, but it is taking you to hell. You have been chasing the mindyoure trodding behind it. It increases the hunger and thirst in you by giving a little glimpse of it.

As a servant, one can burn, vanish, dissolve. Another, as beloved
here are only two relationships in which the mind can mind can burn, vanish, and dissolve---that is, surrender. And these two types of relationships: one is of servant, being a servant

Servant and Master
Being a servant is not being a slave, but being a servant is living the dignity of the Master, dissolving into the Master.

A master is like an ocean. Ocean is there, readily available. It does not reject anybody.

Already Connected
The moment you feel a connection from your side, just know you have already been connected. Otherwise you won't even come anywhere near this knowledge, this path.

Everything is Consciousness
It's one consciousness that has become the body, has become the mind, has become the intellect and emotions, ego, self. Everything that you have in you is made up of one consciousness---like, every wave of the water is made up of the water itself and nothing other than water.

Pleasure and Pain
Whichever object is giving you pleasure, the same object will give you misery---the same thing will give you misery, pain. Like, apple pie is giving you joy, go on eating apple pie, and it will give you a stomach ache and what not.

How to Enjoy
We want to enjoy, but we do not even know how to enjoy. This is the whole problem. There is a way to enjoy, also. The rishis are not against anyone living in the world.

The Secret of Joy
You are the source of joy.

Withdraw your senses
Withdraw your senses from the object to its source, then the union happens, then the yoga happens. You look at something beautiful---now, take your attention from that something to the feeling of beauty that is arising in you.

Move on to the Center

Joy / Not Joy
This is what we see in the world today: everyone is moving towards joy, but people are not joyful. They are the opposite---miserable. Because they are clinging on to the sense objects rather than the source of joy.

Stuck in the Wrappings
The world is a beautiful package, the world is not bad. It's a wrapping paper to you. A beautiful gift is given to you with a very wonderful wrapping paper around it. But if you are stuck with the wrapping paper, the package of the gift, you will not even open it, you will not see the gift that has been given inside the package to you. This is what most people do.

Holding On
If you are holding on to stones in your hands, your hands will not be free to take the diamonds and gold.

Drop the rock!
You have to drop the rock in order to pluck the flowers.

No End to it
There is no end to moving from scene to scene, from person to person, from thing to thing---whole life could be spent doing that. You can spend a whole life. But if you think joy is there, then uniting cannot happen, then you cannot bring all the strings of your Self together.

Limited Senses
Our senses have a limited capacity to enjoy, but the desire in the mind to enjoy is infinite. This is where opposition begins: the mind wants to enjoy, but your body is too tired to enjoy.

Unlimited Joy
This is quite natural: your mind is not satisfied with limited joy. It wants unlimited joy. The desire of every mind is to go to the source where it is unlimited joy.

No Gain, No Loss
The mere presence of the sun brings all the activity in the world. In the same way, your mere presence is a service, is the goal. There is no gain, no loss, no purpose, no defeat.

Stupid Thoughts
It is impossible to know thoughts before they come. You know them as they come. And, if they are stupid, simply smile at them, laugh at them, and they will move away.

You Can Choose
Thoughts simply arise---but you choose to act or not act. This is what awareness brings in you. If you are not aware, you simply act on the strongest impulse or strongest thought.

Sensory Peaks
The peak of any sensory or sensual experience takes you inward.

Senses Lead Within
Each of the senses lead you to a point deep inside you that is the fountain of joy. Whether touch, sex, or sight, or music, or smell, or taste---the joy that is coming to you is coming from a source deep within.

Beyond Birth And Death

Reality
No one ever feels that one is going to die. You know why? Because that is the reality!

You are not going to die
You pity someone who has died, because you have the feeling that you are not going to die. And this is true. Something deep in you never dies. That's why you never feel that you have aged or you are going to die.

Though you may feel, " I am going to die....I am old getting old," --- this is superficial. Deep down inside you, you know for sure you are not

Thou Art Supreme
That which is unmoved, like the ocean without waves, that which is free and pure, that which exists in the three periods of time---the past, present, and future---that supreme art Thou. Meditate on this and realize, right now.

Illusions

You build a world in your mind only through your intentions, your own thought processes. You go on building a castle: what the other person is thinking about you---they may not even think about you anything. You may simply not exist in other person's consciousness, for they are worried about themselves. But you build a big castle about what they are thinking about you in your mind.

Everything is Just a Thought

Wake up and realize this is all made up of thoughts, just thoughts, just thoughts. Your appreciation of beauty is a thought, your aversion to an object that is ugly is a thought. Your craving or aversion is nothing but a passing thought in the mind. Realize this is just a thought and you will be free.

Know Thought as Thought

Knowing a thought as thought brings the freedom. When you know a thought as a reality, that is when you are stuck.

Walls of Concepts

Your own concepts have created "walls" and so you need a "door." But when there are no concepts, there are no walls.

Now or Later

If you are upset, you don't say, "Ok, tomorrow, I'll get upset. Today let me not get upset." But anything good, anything that is uplifting the Self, we have a tendency to postpone: "I'll do it tomorrow, later on, another time."

Letting Go
The more you beg, the more you crave for something, the further away it goes. And the moment you drop it and just repose in the Self, you'll find all those things come, manifold.

The Problem with Choices
The moment there is choice it drops you off of joy, it drops you off of peace.

Bad and Worse
Where is the choice? The choice is only between the bad and the worse. When you realize this you'll drop both those conflicting thoughts and relax---the awareness becomes choiceless. Choiceless-ness leads to confusionless state of mind. Choiceless awareness is the only joyful state, a peaceful state, a state without confusion.

Sacred Secret
Sacredness is the secret of the universe. In the womb of sacredness, creation happens. Consciousness is sacred.

Craving and Bondage
The craving for sense objects is bondage. Their existence seems to have given you a little pleasure, so it binds you. Now you crave for it, and it gives you more and more pain.

False Promises
This is the nature of sense objects: they promise pleasure to begin with and even give you also a little taste, but then leave you with pain and suffering.

Freedom
Freedom is what? Lack of craving. Detachment from the objects of the senses.

It is the pleasure that binds you. And the bondage is painful. If you are bound, you are not bound
Freedom from the pleasure is the real pleasure. Pain does not bind you

Stop and Be
Burn the seed of craving, and then the Non-Doer---Brahman---is already available.

Begging
There is a throne, why don't you sit in that throne? It is for you. You are walking around with a torn cloth, in a shabby state, begging for things that anyway belong to you. Stop being a beggar. And craving is nothing but being like a beggar.

Doing the Practice
Just like you learn to speak a language. Just like you learn to punch on the computer. Just like you learn to drive a car or a plane, you have to learn to drive back to the Self. This is the saadhana, this is the practice---is something that comes to you not just by nature, but by your effort.

Cause of Fear
The transcendental principal, the fourth state of our consciousness, rules over all the other influences of all the planets or cosmic rays. Love vs. Cravings
When you tell somebody you love them, make sure you are not saying it out of your "vasanas," your own cravings, your own impressions, your own craving for some joy.

Love vs. Cravings
True love will not bring sadness, sorrow, misery, problems. But with vasanas (cravings) a tail is always attached---pain, problems, misery, discomfort.

Expand Your World
Expand your world and your vasanas (cravings) will drop away. The world is so big! Be open to new experiences.

Immortal

You can experience love, but you cannot describe it or express it totally.

What Can You Lose?
I tell you, you have no power to lose. What can a drop lose by getting into the ocean? It's an illusion that it is big. A drop thinks "I am great! I am so big---will I vanish?" You will vanish if you don't unite with the ocean.

Worry vs. Freedom
You have nothing to lose. All that you can lose is your tension and your worry, your little-mindedness, fear, and anxiety. And fear and anxiety, tension and worry in the small, little mind will keep the mind from being free, will keep the mind from experiencing its infinite potential, will keep the mind from becoming more powerful on this planet.

Surrender Brings Peace
The moment there is surrender there is peace---that very second there is peace.

Stay with the Question
"What is the purpose of my life?" This very question enlivens the human values in our system, in our self. But don't be in a hurry to find out an answer to this question. Be with the question. The question itself is like a tool by which you can become more deep within yourself.

Our Very Nature
Enlightenment is not an achievement. Rather, getting rid of ignorance is an achievement, getting rid of all the stresses and tension. Because our very nature is enlightenment. That's why "human" and "Divine" are not two things. "Human" is the outer skin and "Divine" is the inside.

Self Only
Only the self exists. Nothing else exists.

Pulled in Two Directions
Being human is like being on a bridge, in between. On one side there is the pull of the Divine qualities, on the other side there is the pull of animalistic qualities.That's why there is more conflict in humans than anywhere else.

Compliments and Insults
See the nature of mind: if there are ten good qualities and one negative, the mind clings on to that one negative. Ten compliments and one insult, the mind will forget all the ten compliments. It hangs on to the one insult and goes on and on and on about it.

The highest blossoming

What is the highest blossoming of consciousness? That consciousness which is neither in the past nor in the future nor in the present, but is a witness to all three. Self Deception
Our main difficulty is that we don't even share things with ourself---self deception. That is what you call self deception, when you are not truthful to yourself.

Bhajan
This word "bhajan" is very precious. "Bhaj" means "to share." Sharing what? Sharing all that the Divine is.

Uninterrupted

Aversions
Your taste is nothing that cannot be changed. Your aversions are that which bind you, which robs the freedom from you. Stand back and look at them.

When feverishness clogs your head, your mind is not clear; a poetry cannot dawn on that. If there is feverishness, any creative thought will not come.

Craving, Aversion, Feverishness
It is impossible to be without being with the five senses in the world---but the craving for it should drop. Because every craving or aversion creates a feverishness in the mind, and whenever the mind is in the grip of feverishness it is far away from love.

The Family of Negativity
'Feverishness' will create anger, and that whole thing will go on like that. From anger you get attachment, jealousy, frustration---all this family of negativity will start.

"When we express love too much, then also it disappears, dies out. It's like when you keep the seed on the surface of the soil, not a little deep inside, it doesn't grow."

Dropping the Craving
Dropping the craving in the mind, or aversion in the mind, for any particular sense objects, strengthens the mind---and only a strong mind can ever experience Divine Love.

"Someone else throws a garbage and we are ready to take it all in. Someone got hurt and they are throwing all anger, frustration; and you hear [them]. You say, "Oh, why did so-and-so say such things!" And you immediately grasp those things, and you store it in your mind. Now not only that person has been in misery, you have shared that misery with that person, taken it on you."

Observation is the Key
Craving never dies by experience---craving or aversion goes only through observation.

Limited Senses, Unlimited Desire
Actually, the real craving of the mind, of the being, is for Divine Love, for unlimited joy. Every soul is craving for unlimited joy, joy which has no boundaries, but senses cannot provide them with what they are searching for through the senses. The capacity to enjoy for our senses is limited. But the desire is unlimited.

Clogged
Every experience, when it is over done, every sense, brings nausea. Craving turns into aversion. And aversion continues, then it turns into craving. With this feverishness of aversion and craving the mind gets clogged, closed---it's unable to see the light deep within.

Just Relax!
Take a while and just relax. Repose in the depth of your being.

You are the source of joy

Knowing Someone Else's Mind
You want to know the mind of another person---how is it? You don't even know your own mind, and you want to know somebody else's mind! And it's impossible to know anybody's mind just by their words, or the movement of their lips and tongue. The tongue has no bone, so it can just move in any way it wants!

Total lack of wisdom
Mindless violence is prevalent in the world. In the name of country, in the name of religion, in the name of race. This is absolute nonsense! This is total lack of viveka, total lack of wisdom.

Better indeed is knowledge than mechanical practice. Better than knowledge is meditation. But better still is surrender of attachment to results, because there follows immediate peace.

Compassion or Forgiveness
Compassion is better than forgiveness. The very word "forgiveness" implies that there is an intention in somebody's mistake. Somebody is bad so you are going to "forgive" them. Peep into their heart. Go beyond their words, beyond their behavior---you will see, they need compassion, they need help.

Don't See Intention
Do not see intention behind somebody else's mistakes

Breath is the Link
Breath is the link between your body and your spirit and your mind.

Compassion
When there is a wound deep inside a person, he will try to share that with other people. What else can he do? You just recognize: "Oh, he needs compassion." Compassion is the only medicine. Unconditional love is the only treatment.

Conditional Love
We try to hold on to people. Even when we love, we love with a condition: "See, I love you, so in return you must love me."

Doubt
You doubt in the positivity of people, in the goodness of people. You don't doubt in the negativity, or badness, in the people. Do you? Have you ever doubted in somebody's anger toward you? Have you ever said, "Is she really angry at me? I don't believe it." But if someone says, "I love you," you say, "Really? Sure? Truly? Then prove it to me!"

More Doubt
Just examine, what do you doubt? You doubt always in something good---whether it is in you or in someone else. When you are depressed, you never doubt your depression, but when you are happy you doubt: "Am I really happy? Is this really what I want?" And then you say, "I'm not sure..."

Still More Doubt
In order to trust, you must first understand your doubt. You doubt yourself, and you doubt people around you. And then you doubt in the existence of God.

Trust
The entire world lives on trust. Every aspect in life moves with trust.

Effort won't work
The moment you make an effort to love somebody or to be happy, you cannot.

"Your journey should be from the known to the unknown. And how do you do that? By doing something which you don't know!.". . . SRI SRI...

Being Natural
When you are natural, when you don't pretend, then you are very close to the Divine.

See love even where it isn't
Even if people don't like or love you, from your side you consider that they do love you, so that your love, at least, gets protected. Otherwise, when you think somebody doesn't love you, then you will also stop loving them.

Compassion And Trust
Even if somebody doesn't love you, just go and tell them, "Oh, I know you love me so much." Tell them five or six times; see the change in them. Even if they don't love you, they'll start.

How to drain love
We keep on challenging: "Do you really love me? If you really love me then you won't do like this. You should be doing this way." When we keep some such measuring rods, then we are draining love.

Take it for granted
Take it for granted that the divine loves you dearly,
then your love for the divine becomes more unconditional and intense!

"We should be present and be giving presents to everyone. Everyone who comes to you should leave with smile.". . . SRI SRI...

Abundance is a state of mind
Abundance is a state of mind within you. If you just look at "lack," the lack increases in life.

" What is the highest blossoming of consciousness? That consciousness which is neither in the past nor in the future nor in the present, but is a witness to all three. Or you can say that conciousness which contains the infinite past, the infinite future, and totally available in the present moment."

Don't look at lack.
Don't look at the lack in your life. See what you have. Then abundance increases.

Love is Letting Go
Love is that phenomenon of dissolving, disappearing, merging, becoming one with. Love is that phenomenon of total letting go.

Look at what you have.
Just look at what you have. Focus on it---because where you put your energy that increases in life.

There is some power, someone who is really caring for you---not just someone:
there is only One in the whole universe. That One in the Universe is caring and taking care. Relax; just be peaceful.

Which way are you looking?
You think, "Nobody loves me! Everybody hates me!" and I tell you, that is what is going to happen. Because you will be looking in that direction, looking that way. I'm sure you'll find somebody---even the most nice person will look at you and may not give a big smile to you.

Spiritual Knowledge and Science
All possible advancements in any field you see today, either science or arts, originated as a thought, originated in that ocean of intelligence. People talk about "science meeting spirituality" or " spirituality coming together with science" this is such an immature, childish statement. Spiritual knowledge *is* science. And science can never be away from spiritual knowledge. Because, spirit alone can bring the science up. They are two sides of the same coin.

Take It For Granted
Take it for granted---even if nobody loves you, say, "Everyone loves me!"

That is Enough!
God loves you. That is enough. And, you *are* love. That is enough!

in the world, everybody is after GOLD; some are after GOOD; only a few are after GOD.
Transcend GOLD, transcend the GOOD, and reach GOD................

Uninterrupted sharing---that grows into feeling the presence of Divine all the time, uninterruptedly.

Pause
Just singing is not sufficient. One can just go on singing. But in between the songs, a few moments of silence, of depth, of experiencing the bliss of the infinite---that is very essential.

There is no way - neither by any actions, nor words - that you can ever convince anybody that you really love him (or her). The more we try to do this, the more we do the contrary.

Feel oneness
When you feel so much oneness with the Master that you don't feel, The Master is separate, I am separate; the Divine is separate, I am separate, that is Divine Love.

When this truth - that the world is misery - becomes solidified in the mind, in our experience, only then are we able to see, what is beyond this world - that something, the spirit, which is all joy..

Sometimes on a dark night, if there is lightning, then for a second, you see the whole town. Everything becomes visible, even though it's just for a few moments.
Like that, surrender happens in deep meditation.

Dispassion is not apathy. Often we think dispassion means being totally unenthusiastic, depressed, not interested in anything - This is not dispassion. Dispassion is lack of feverishness.

Offering
Offering is a sign of surrender. When there is surrender, we offer - we write a poem, we offer a flower, we do something. We offer our breath - offering the very life, the very breath, is Divine Love

Really Living

To your very dear and loved ones, you say this: "If you need me, I am here. I am here for you. I am here to make you comfortable." Those are the moments that you have really lived your life.

Tolerance
Have patience and tolerance, be positive about everything...At the end You will be the winner always!!!

When somebody makes a mistake - when we recognize somebody's mistake - if we dont feel compassion for them, then we will definitely feel anger... and this anger becomes hatred .

Erased Karmas
Even in (Sudarshan) Kriya, when you do Kriya, at the end of the Kriya you get a glimpse of samadhi, for a few seconds, even. Sometimes you are aware, sometimes you are not aware of it. And at this moment all the "karmas," the latent impressions in the mind---they all get burned down and erased.

Purpose of Words
The Purpose of words are to create SILENCE

If you want to grow in Divine Love, you have got to drop the pride and all the artificial walls, we build between ourselves and others. Through these walls, we keep judging others, and we think, others are judging us.

"See a mistake as a mistake, not as "my" or "his" mistake. "My" means guilt; "his" means anger.". . . SRI SRI...

We keep on challenging and saying: 'Do you really love me? If your really love me, then you wont do this. You should be doing it this way.' When we keep such measuring rods, then we are draining love.

Sharing
Knowledge and Love are the most valuable treasures; when shared they increase multi fold...

Worry
Worry is a product of loving something that is not permanent, that is not eternal.

In life, some pleasant things happen, some unpleasant things happen -- so what? None of them stay forever.

You can't even say 'enlightened person' You can only say 'enlightenment' because when the person's personalities disappear, dissolve, then that is enlightenment.

Growing in Divine Love
If you want to grow in Divine Love, you have got to drop the pride and all the artificial walls, we build between ourselves and others. Through these walls, we keep judging others, and we think, others are judging us.

Hard to get
When an attraction becomes a little difficult to attain, then love begins to happen more. And when it becomes a little difficult to capture love, possess love, then devotion starts happening. Just reflect on this.

No Complaints
The sign of enlightenment is no complaints and no explanations!

The Enemy of Love
Worry is enemy of love. You cannot be in love and be worried at the same time.

Worry and Hanging On
Worry makes you hang on to the past, because worry carries the "doership" in it. And the path of devotion is dropping the "doership."

Be with your Feelings
Whatever feeling is there in you at the moment, whatever feeling, be with it one hundred percent. Share it with the Divine.

Tax
Just look into all the pleasures or joys that you get from the world, from anything - They all come with a tax. You have to pay a tax for them .. and this tax is sorrow.

An attitude of: 'so wht! Let it be' - takes away the feverishness in you, takes away the passion in you, and brings you to that pillar of dispassion.

If you are passionate, be passionate about the highest, the most wonderful, the most beautiful. Be passionate about this entire creation for everything is so beautifu

Feel grateful for your very existence ... for your body, and for all that you have, all the love you have received. This gratefulness will bring you a flood of prosperity, joy and happiness.

The Formless
The formless is ruling your life. The formless is ruling the world. And there is a greater formlessness that is ruling the entire creation. And you are the center of that greater formlessness, whatever you call it---God, Consciousness, No-Mind, Nirvana, Spirit, anything you call it by name.

Knowledge of Death
Knowledge of death makes you immortal. It's wrong to even say, "makes you immortal." It makes you aware that you are immortal, anyway.

Fear
Lack of understanding of life causes fear. People are afraid of love, people are afraid of meditation, people are afraid of death, people are afraid of themselves. Ignorance, lack of awareness, is cause of fear. Just a glimpse of the Being, of the Self that you are, that you are beyond death, roots out the fear totally.

The Sattvic Intellect
The sattvic intellect is one that just does the job joyfully and is unmindful of the results. Let things happen or not happen---either way they don't lose their enthusiasm.

Every Inch Filled with Bliss
For one who has awakened in knowledge, there is no more suffering. The world appears completely different. For him every inch of this creation is filled with bliss, is a part of the Self.

Self Is the Center
The Self is the center of the whole creation.

Too Much
The same thing which gave you pleasure is now making you suffer. If you are forced to eat twenty apple pies you will hold your head and say, "Oh my God! I want relief from this. I want to get away from this! Enough is enough!"

Pleasure and Release
This entire universe is there to give you pleasure and release. Whatever gives you pleasure should also give relief. Otherwise, the very pleasure becomes pain

Changing
Everything in this universe is dynamic. There is nothing that is static. Even the mountains appear to be static, but they are not static, they are all dynamic. Every atom is dynamic in this universe.

Don't Get Lost
The whole world is here for you to enjoy, but when enjoying, don't forget your Self.

The Perpetual Dance
In nature, both destruction and creation are complementary. They are two steps---like day and night. All opposite values in nature, they all dance together. It has been that way since the beginning. It'll continue 'til the end.

Problems
Many problems have come, many problems have been solved, and each problem has enriched life in some way, has brought up some strength in you.

Looking Ahead
Where will we be in 5,000 years? What is going to happen in 5,000 years? Have a bigger plan! In 10,000 years, what is going to happen? Where will you be?

Deep Down:
Deep down you are wonderful. Never think, Deep down I have all these anxieties.

Spreading Around
You sit and think; you sit and feel. Do you think that feeling just remains with you? It reaches far beyond this universe. Your intentions, your feelings get spread much faster than the radiation. It is spread all over this globe and far, far beyond.

Nectar and Poison
In every breath there is Divine nectar. There is nectar that flows out of it. Or poison can flow.

By self-study, by observing, by being hollow and empty, you become a channel---you become a part of the Divine. You are able to feel the presence of the Divinity. All the different angels and devas, all these different forms of our consciousness, start blossoming.

No Going Back
For every step, the previous phase has to be disolved. One phase disolves to give space for another, and it is always evolutionary. So there is no reverting back, no reversing---it is evolutionary. It can stop for a while, but then it continues.

Surrender and Freedom

There is no freedom at all without surrender, and when I surrender I get infinite freedom. The greater my surrender is, the greater my freedom, that much the load is taken off of me.

Look Inside Another
You may not like somebody's action, what they do, but look into that Divine love that is deep inside them.

All his concern is for how well this mind, this flirting mind, could be arrested and established in its source, this mind which is so blind, seeking here and there, here and there, could be put into itself and be made to open its eye to itself.

Dear to God
God is all over. God is in the stone. God is in the flowers. God is in the garbage can. God is all over, but devotee is not all over. So God runs behind His devotees. To God, devotees are very dear, so dear.

Jealousy
You can never feel jealous about yourself, can you? When something is not you, you feel jealous.

Heart and Head
When heart speaks and heart listens, harmony is produced. It is always so. When head talks and head listens, argument is produced.

Head and Heart-1
Use your brain, it's necessary. Use your brain. I'm not saying shut off your brain and only live in the heart all the time, no. It has its function. But it is possible that we have shut off functioning from the heart and we are stuck in the head---that is another extreme.

Power of Surrender
The greatest power is in surrender---surrender to the Divine.

Listen from Your Heart
We have this ability, but we have forgotten to listen from our heart. That is why we are tense and worried and dull and dry---we feel dry in life. The joy comes when we can listen from our heart.

Heart and Intellect
Listen from your heart. Soak into it. Observe. That is your home. And your brain, your intellect is like a car; it's the motor that drives you there. But even after getting into your garage, if you refuse to step out of your car, you will never enjoy your home.

The Experiencer
Self is not object of senses. Self is the experiencer of the object of senses.

Recognize the Divinity
When you move in the world, recognize the Divinity in things around you, in people around you. Listen with your heart.

Multi-Dimensional Growth
If you are just enthusiasm, it can be directed in anything, anywhere, all directions. That is how multi-dimensional growth happens within you. Fullness of consciousness blossoms in all aspects.

Go Ahead!
There is a song deep inside you. You are born to sing a song and you are preparing. You are moving around in the stage with your dresses, but you are forgetting to sing---holding the mike, too, but you are keeping silent. 'Til that time, you'll be restless---until you can sing that song which you have come on the stage to sing. Doesn't matter if you feel a little out of tune for one minute or two. Go ahead. Sing.

Anger is about the past
Anger is meaningless, because it is always about something that has already passed.

Self Study

So everything in the world bakes you, heats you up. And if you put your finger deeper into it, you will get burned. So move lightly.

We are all floating bodies, like shells in the ocean of life.

No Harsh Word
Do not speak any harsh word. Let not any harsh word come out of your mouth to anyone, for the Divine dwells in every heart. Do not hurt with your words, for the Divine dwells in every heart.

Look into the Vastness
Our head is stuck inside a drum, and we think that is the sky. It is so little, our universe. Take your head; lift up---look into that vastness of the creation.

Totally Responsible
Your worries, your feelings, your thoughts arise in your mind. You are totally responsible for all your feelings--how you feel, what you think, what you do--all that. You are responsible.

Superficial Trust
Our trust is very superficial. It's just a covering for our fears. We are afraid and we don't want to feel that way, so we force the trust on us. We think we have trusted, and when the time comes it falls apart

This One Thing
If trust, this one thing, happens in us, our life will completely be transformed. It'll be very, very different. You won't sit and worry---what will happen to you, what about tomorrow---this will not happen. You'll smile through life.

Expand
The nature of joy is to share, to expand, to stretch.

When We Sing
In every little mind, different, different thoughts come; and different, different moods are there. But, when we sing, what happens? All the minds have the same rythym, the same song, same waves, same frequency, and there is so much more joy.

Let Me Share
Attaining the highest, one never feels, "Oh, I have attained, let me sit back." No, the very nature of the highest joy is to share, is to bring it to everyone.

Feel the Presence
In the presence of one who is so quiet, you can feel a Presence. It's not an intellectual something, but in an experiential way you feel a Presence. It's very subtle.

Emotions and Sensations
Every mood of mind, every wave of emotion in us, has a corresponding rhythym in the breath. And this rythym in the breath has a corresponding sensation in different parts of the body. They're all linked. And when we look at them, observe them, then life becomes more integrated.

This Drama
What is it you are hanging on to? How long will you continue this play, this drama? What is happening? Hmm?

The divine does not care how you are outside. It only looks to your inside. Never let any tiny bit of dislike or craving house in your heart.

Past or Future
Observe your mind---it's either in the past or in the future. Do you see that? We regret the past and are anxious about the future.

When You Let Go
Regret piles up and piles up and it becomes so big---and you blow up. Do you see this happening to you? When you let go, your mind can be in the present moment, more and more and more and more. You are able to smile and laugh from the depth of your heart. Life becomes more light and easy.

You are the goal. You are the past, present and future.

"Remember those wonderful moments you have had. Sit and be with them. In that very memory your entire being gets back to that state". . . SRI SRI...

Blame
When something wrong happens, we either blame ourselves or blame somebody else. We don't just take things as they are; we want to find out a reason, and label it, and put the blame on somebody else. Or, on ourselves.

Compassion or Forgiveness
Compassion is better than forgiveness. The very word "forgiveness" implies that there is an intention in somebody's mistake. Somebody is bad so you are going to "forgive" them. Peep into their heart. Go beyond their words, beyond their behavior---you will see, they need compassion, they need help.

Don't See Intention
Do not see intention behind somebody else's mistakes.

"Do not brand anyone as negative and have compassion for his or her ignorance. Your prayers to change them will help them and you". . . SRI SRI...

Breath is the Link
Breath is the link between your body and your spirit and your mind.

"When you see this whole flow of events as temporary, as non-existent, then, even when someone scolds at you, you smile ". . . SRI SRI...

Compassion
When there is a wound deep inside a person, he will try to share that with other people. What else can he do? You just recognize: "Oh, he needs compassion." Compassion is the only medicine. Unconditional love is the only treatment.

know urself
There's a lot of fear connected with the inner journey because it penetrates our illusions. Taking the inner journey will lead you into some very shadowy places. You're going to learn things about yourself that you'll wish you didn't know. There are monsters in there—monsters you can't control—but trying to keep them hidden will only give them greater power..

Conditional Love
We try to hold on to people. Even when we love, we love with a condition: "See, I love you, so in return you must love me."

"Ego wants something which is very difficult. It doesn't recognise the simplicity in life. Ego is very complicated.". . . SRI SRI...

Doubt
You doubt in the positivity of people, in the goodness of people. You don't doubt in the negativity, or badness, in the people. Do you? Have you ever doubted in somebody's anger toward you? Have you ever said, "Is she really angry at me? I don't believe it." But if someone says, "I love you," you say, "Really? Sure? Truly? Then prove it to me!"

More Doubt
Just examine, what do you doubt? You doubt always in something good---whether it is in you or in someone else. When you are depressed, you never doubt your depression, but when you are happy you doubt: "Am I really happy? Is this really what I want?" And then you say, "I'm not sure..."

Being Natural
When you are natural, when you don't pretend, then you are very close to the Divine.

This intoxicating Love does not excite you, but brings a cooling influence in you. It's such a peaceful, restful Love. It's something void of the feverishness.

Dropping the craving or the aversion in the mind, towards any particular sense object, strengthens the mind - and only a strong mind can ever experience Divine Love..

The Ultimate Flowering
Love is the ultimate flowering, and you cannot force it to happen. It is a gift to you, again, it's a gift to you. It's a happening, a spontaneous phenomenon. Ahh---we can drop all the obstacles that we might put for it to happen

Fountain of Joy
You are a fountain of joy at the center of your being.

Life Everywhere
"Everywhere in creation, it's all filled with life, life, life---everywhere."

Love vs. Cravings

When you tell somebody you love them, make sure you are not saying it out of your "vasanas," your own cravings, your own impressions, your own craving for some joy.

Forget to Forgive

Forgetfulness is one of the greatest blessings. If you remember all that people did in the past, never forget, you will never forgive also

Hollow and Empty
You become a perfect instrument of the Divine when you become hollow and empty.

You see how plane moves through clouds, fog and mist as it lands on to a landing strip. Its focus is on a narrow strip and does not mind all the obstacles in its way. You too should be untouched by the difficuties and keep on the track of your path .". . . SRI SRI...

Who is worried about your status? Nobody. If someone looks at your status, they feel jealousy. Why do you create more jealousy in other people?

Applause
If ten thousand people applaud you---so what? You think you will be in their mind, in their attention, forever? No. You will get big applause, and they clap, and they go away. And, the same people, some other time may talk ill of you, too.

Fame
This feverishness of fame, of pride, of social recognition is immaturity. Just wake up and see there is nothing much in it. It’s an empty bowl.

Sacred Secret

Sacredness is the secret of the universe. In the womb of sacredness, creation happens. Consciousness is sacred.

Take life as a Play
Take life not serious. If you take life very serious, then you are bound to be disturbed. The only way you can maintain your equanimity is to take it as a play, as a game, and not take anything too serious.

Seer, Seen & Process of Seeing
The seers, the seen, and the process of seeing all merge. The knowledge, the knower, and the known, they all merge, become one---that is Divine Love.

Desire for the Highest
Make your desire bigger. Desire for the highest. Don't go for anything smaller than that. Hm? Then also Divine Love dawns in you.

This is the ultimate relationship - when you can relate to yourself one hundred percent. Then, any face you look at, there is love .. there is charm .. there is beauty.

Successful failures

When the Big Mind wins over the small, even the failure of the small mind is a joy. It has always happened that way. Turn back and see---some of your failures have been very good. They have made you progress somewhere, made you stronger.

Real forgiveness
Your forgiveness should be such that the person who is being forgiven does not even know that you are forgiving them. They don't even feel guilty of a mistake. That is the right type of forgiveness.

When doubts arise in you: fast, meditate, do pranayam, and do prayers, and see whether the doubt will remain.

A Wall of Pride
If you want to grow in Divine Love, you have got to drop the pride and all of the artificial wall we build between ourselves and others. In the "wall" we keep judging others, and we think others are judging us.

Krishna is inside you. The guru is inside you. Have an inner union with the guru.

As If!
Though you exist with a body, in the state of samadhi you are not there at all. In other words you can say, live as though you don't exist--this is samadhi.

That is Enough!
God loves you. That is enough. And, you *are* love. That is enough!

Steadiness

Everything in this creation is a sign of celebration.

A hand unseen is behind this creation, and every pair of eyes is looking for that hand, which is not seen. Wherever one looks, one is looking for that hand which is behind and unseen.

Purpose of a Flower
If a flower does not remind you of the eternal Truth, then it has not fulfilled its purpose.

Spiritual Knowledge and Science
All possible advancements in any field you see today, either science or arts, originated as a thought, originated in that ocean of Intelligence.People talk about "science meeting spirituality" or "spirituality coming together with science" this is such an immature, childish statement. Spiritual knowledge *is* science. And science can never be away from spiritual knowledge. Because, spirit alone can bring the science up. They are two sides of the same coin.

"The spiritual path demands two things. First, authenticity. Are you authentic? Whatever, you are doing, are you authentic? The second thing it demands is intensity. How intense are you? in anything you are doing? If you are just lukewarm, there's no progress on the spiritual path."

Consciousness and the body
You think the body makes the consciousness? No. Consciousness has made the body.

Yoga vs. Depression
Yoga is to realize that your mind is dynamic, your life is dynamic. Depression is a sign of static understanding about life. When you feel everything in life is dead, static, there is nothing more, nowhere to go---that is when one gets depressed.

Everything is changing. And this is all there only to heat you up, to bake you. You are baked in joy, and you are baked in sorrow. You are baked in this event, and you are baked in that event. So everything in the world bakes you, heats you up. And if you put your finger deeper into it, you will get burned. So move lightly....Sri Sri

Not Dead
The world is not a dead place; the creation is not a dead place. It is solidified consciousness, and it is dynamic. And it is new. Every moment it is new.

Servant and Beloved
There are only two relationships in which the mind can mind can burn, vanish, and dissolve---that is, surrender. And these two types of relationships: one is of servant, being a servant; as a servant, one can burn, vanish, dissolve. Another, as beloved; as beloved, one can burn, vanish and dissolve.

People think---without knowing---that they know. That is a great danger... A a few books they would have studied, and a few practices they might have made. They might have met a few people here and there, may have met a few saints, too. But then they start thinking they know it all, they have it all. And they start arguing, quoting the scriptures and arguing. Love cannot blossom in such a situation....Sri Sri

Servant and Master
Being a servant is not being a slave, but being a servant is living the dignity of the Master, dissolving into the Master.

You become a perfect instrument of the Divine when you become hollow and empty...Sri Sri

Maturing Intellect
When the intellect starts maturing, it starts questioning the source of creation.

No Closeness
Misunderstandings happen on this planet because of distance, because there is no closeness, no one ever "sits next to" the other. In one house people live on different planets. In a town, people live in different galaxies. There is so much distance, and so there is no understanding.

Cause of Fear

The transcendental principal, the fourth state of our consciousness, rules over all the other influences of all the planets or cosmic rays. So, if you could meditate, you nullify all the undesirable effects of the cosmic rays, the cosmos. Singing, chanting, meditating can eliminate all those undesirable effects.

The Foundation of Knowledge
Knowledge is possible only when you come close. From a distance, and in a formal atmosphere, knowledge cannot blossom...Being together is the foundation of knowledge.

Language of Existence

The more "in" you are, the more consolidated you are, in the very core of your Being, the center of your Being, the more you speak the language of the Existence. You do so much good; you do so many wonderful things around you.

Nearness and Distance
Love cannot tolerate distance, and hatred cannot tolerate nearness.

The Ultimate Prerequisite
When there is no peace, forget about God, forget about Truth, forget about Divinity, forget about everything else. The first requirement is peace.

Celebration happens when the mind unites with the spirit. The mind keeps crying and crying until it finds the spirit! When the mind unites with the spirit then real celebration happens

You sit and think; you sit and feel. Do you think that feeling just remains with you? It reaches far beyond this universe. Your intentions, your feelings get spread much faster than the radiation. It is spread all over this globe and far, far beyond..Sri Sri

Be active, be dynamic, but not obsessed with or feverish about fulfilling desires because that is the root cause of depression. If you are depressed, underneath the depression, is a lingering desire.

Pause
Just singing is not sufficient. One can just go on singing. But in between the songs, a few moments of silence, of depth, of experiencing the bliss of the infinite---that is very essential.

Churning the Mind
Life is the process of "churning." Your mind is being churned by so many things, events happening. Your mind is churned and churned and churned, and finally, the "butter" comes---it's the sainthood, the saintliness in you.

There can't be love without longing and there can't be longing without love.

Dissolving the Ego

Longing
Longing is part of love, is the other face of love.

Take It For Granted

Take it for granted---even if nobody loves you, say, "Everyone loves me!"

Possessing
We want to possess love; in the act of possessing, we destroy love.

Desire Makes You Weak

Our energy is getting dissipated in the form of fears and desires, fears and desires. And it is the desire that makes you weak.

When you demand love, you are destroying love.

Separateness
The ego is simply an illusion. "Ego" means separateness, that's all.

Ego and Divine Love
As long as there is ego, there is no Divine Love; and when there is Divine Love, the ego---there is no sign of it.

The Pain of Separation

Loving Objects
A person who cannot love people, starts loving objects.

The path is very long - the goal is in every moment; the goal is where you are.". . . SRI SRI...

Simply in Love

A devotee is not there even for wisdom. He simply is in love. He has fallen in deep love with the master, with the infinity, with God. He doesn�t care whether he gets enlightened or not.

Closing Down
Our love---capacity to love---everybody has, but they have not utilized it. We have not thrown ourselves open. We have closed into our small, "my, my, me, me, mine."

Love and Expansion
Love is sharing; love is expansion. You can't but love, because you want to expand! And nature of life is to expand. But we have learned and cultured all our habits to restrain ourselves, and that is why the Divine Love is not manifesting in our life fully.

Love Transformed

The love that you have for objects for people, for things, and places, and items is not different from Divine Love. It's not opposite to Divine Love... I tell you the same love is transformed, becomes Divine Love.

Your own concepts have created "walls" and so you need a "door." But when there are no concepts, there are no walls.

Expressing Love

When we express love too much, then also it disappears, dies out. It's like when you keep the seed on the surface of the soil, not a little deep inside, it diesn't grow.

There are only selfish or bad moments; there are no bad people in this world. They are ignorant. Inside every culprit is a victim crying for help. Feel compassionate for such people.

Constantly you are looking for proof of something. This is one mode of activity. Yoga is when you drop this. Then alone you can abide in the Self....Sri Sri

Now or Later
If you are upset, you don't say, "Ok, tomorrow, I'll get upset. Today let me not get upset." But anything good, anything that is uplifting the Self, we have a tendency to postpone: "I'll do it tomorrow, later on, another time."

Beyond Birth And Death
There is something in you that is beyond death. And that is before birth, also.

"If you look to God, pray to God, with a full heart, dropping sorrow (What is sorrow! Huh? Hanging on to the past.) Then whatever you desire will all be given to you.". . SRI SRI...

The moment there is surrender there is peace---that very second there is peace....Sri Sri

There is hope for every soul, for every human being, to live unconditional love. That is why human body is so precious---because in this body you have the ability to erase all the unwanted negative impressions.....Sri Sri

You are not going to die
Though you may feel, " I am going to die; I am old getting old," --- this is superficial. Deep down inside you, you know for sure you are not going to die. You are beyond death.

Thou Art Supreme
That which is unmoved, like the ocean without waves, that which is free and pure, that which exists in the three periods of time---the past, present, and future---that supreme art Thou. Meditate on this and realize, right now.

You are not the body
You are not the body/mind complex. You are the eternity.

Tendency to Merge

In this entire creation there is a tendency to become one, to get back to one, because the two is painful. From two, to go to one is the purpose of creation. Everything wants to merge into something. What is that? We call it Love.

Existing as though you are not, living as though you are not there at all: hollow and empty - pure, empty space - that is when one says, "Let Thy will be done. Let Thy will be done. Let Thy will be done." That is true unity between the little small mind and the infinite mind, the cosmic mind, the universal mind.....Sri Sri

Consciousness is the Guru

Getting Baked

Everything is changing. And this is all there only to heat you up, to bake you. You are baked in joy, and you are baked in sorrow. You are baked in this event, and you are baked in that event. So everything in the world bakes you, heats you up. And if you put your finger deeper into it, you will get burned. So move lightly.

Any argument---just step out from that shoe you are in and see you can counter-argue that. This is what the laws and law offices do. Isn't it?”

Stuck in the Wrappings
The world is a beautiful package, the world is not bad. It's a wrapping paper to you. A beautiful gift is given to you with a very wonderful wrapping paper around it. But if you are stuck with the wrapping paper, the package of the gift, you will not even open it, you will not see the gift that has been given inside the package to you. This is what most people do.

EMPTINESS

"Emptiness is the doorway between material and spiritual worlds. It is where you come to understand the nature of the spirit. If you do not know emptiness, you can not know the joy of the being. The knack of experiencing being causes emptiness. From the emptiness begins the fullness."

For every step, the previous phase has to be disolved. One phase disolves to give space for another, and it is always evolutionary. So there is no reverting back, no reversing---it is evolutionary. It can stop for a while, but then it continues...Sri Sri

Holding On
If you are holding on to stones in your hands, your hands will not be free to take the diamonds and gold.

Mindless violence is prevalent in the world. In the name of country, in the name of religion, in the name of race. This is absolute nonsense! This is total lack of viveka, total lack of wisdom...Sri Sri

Drop the rock!
You have to drop the rock in order to pluck the flowers

No End to it

When you meditate or when you pray, when you are in the space of vastness, calmness and love, you emit certain vibrations, and these vibrations are not limited to you or your environment. They also touch all those minds or the balloons of souls which are outside your physical reality. Your prayer transcends physical reality and reaches the subtle levels of existence....Sri Sri

Limited Senses
Our senses have a limited capacity to enjoy, but the desire in the mind to enjoy is infinite. This is where opposition begins: the mind wants to enjoy, but your body is too tired to enjoy

When you sit for meditation, let go of everything. Best way is to think, "Oh, the world is disappearing, dissolved, dead---I am dead." Unless you are "dead" you cannot meditate...Sri Sri

Unlimited Joy
This is quite natural: your mind is not satisfied with limited joy. It wants unlimited joy. The desire of every mind is to go to the source where it is unlimited joy.

You are the Source

Stop struggling to become something you already are. You are the goal. You are the source.

Pleasure and Pain
Whichever object is giving you pleasure, the same object will give you misery---the same thing will give you misery, pain. Like, apple pie is giving you joy, go on eating apple pie, and it will give you a stomach ache and what not.

Silence

"Silence is the mother of all creativity. Silence is the mother of invention. Silence is the basis of love. We need to create a sense of belongingness with silence or for silence."

How to Enjoy
We want to enjoy, but we do not even know how to enjoy. This is the whole problem. There is a way to enjoy, also. The rishis are not against anyone living in the world.

You have nothing to lose. All that you can lose is your tension and your worry, your little-mindedness, fear, and anxiety. And fear and anxiety, tension and worry in the small, little mind will keep the mind from being free, will keep the mind from experiencing its infinite potential, will keep the mind from becoming more powerful on this planet...Sri Sri

The Impersonal Made Personal

Infinity is available, but not tangible; the Guru is both infinite and tangible. The Divine is impersonal; the Guru is both personal and Divine---the impersonal personified for your benefit.

When you make the possible POSSIBLE, Guru will make the impossible POSSIBLE :-)

If you look to God, pray to God, with a full heart, dropping sorrow (What is sorrow! Huh? Hanging on to the past.) then whatever you desire will all be given to you.

What is the best way to reach bliss?

One is, by meditating, and the other, is by serving the people around you - by getting into some service activity.

No bad people
There are only selfish or bad moments; there are no bad people in this world. They are ignorant. Inside every culprit is a victim crying for help. Feel compassionate for such people.

Contentment

Want, or desire, arises when you are not happy. Have you seen this? When you are very happy then there is contentment. "Contentment" means "no want."

Perfection is not achieved completely by anyone in this world,
But if u keep chasing the Perfection,
Somewhr on way, you may catch EXCELLENCE...

Ego means...
Ego means being not natural, not feeling at home. Ego means, "OK, I want to show to someone that I am somebody." When you feel at home and natural, then there is no ego..

The Being is immortal..
The Being is immortal, the Consciousness is immortal, the Guru is immortal, the rishi, maharishi, is immortal. And so also, you are immortal and eternal . . .

Everything is God

This entire universe is made up of God. There is nothing outside God.

So what -- let it be
An attitude of "So what -- let it be."
takes away the feverishness in you,
takes away the passion in you,
brings you to that pillar of dispassion.

Slaps in Life

In life, any time you become stiff---and there you get a slap! Become soft; smile there. Any stiffness, life just smoothens it out, evens it out, in you.

Satvic pleasure
That pleasure which comes after a certain discipline, is really satvic pleasure, long lasting pleasure. That pleasure which is pleasurable to begin with but ends in misery, is no pleasure at all.

Upanishad
Sitting close to the Master, that is "Upanishad" you catch on to many things. You catch on to the inexpressible. You catch on something that is indescribable. . .

God is not

God is not the object of sight; you can never see God. God is not an object of hearing. God is not an object of smelling or tasting. God cannot be perceived through your senses, nor through the mind.

God does not create sadness for you.When you go away from God, you experience sadness. . . SRI SRI...

In the realm of mind, like attracts like. If the soul is peaceful, then it attracts peaceful environment and people around it.

The Level of Words

This is ironic, it's a big irony: that freedom and surrender---they go hand in hand.

Flash of Surrender

All that you are craving for, all that you are hanging on to, comes to you anyways - automatically, but you have to let go! you have your fists closed tight. why not open your hands? Then you'll see that the whole sky is in your hands.

Avoiding Bondage

You reject something, but if you reject it without anger it is not bondage; if you reject something with anger, then that is bondage. You receive some, and when you receive: "Oh, oh, oh!" you are excited about it, then that is bondage. Whatever is done with anger or excitement makes a strong impression in the mind and that becomes a bondage.

Our work is to spread love. Love is already there in people, we only have to rekindle it . . .

Be a very normal, natural person in the universe. Follow all the norms and regulations, rules in the society. But at the same time, don't allow them to restrict or eat away the life inside you. Don't be swallowed by these identifications

False Promises

The mind has promised you heaven, but it is taking you to hell. You have been chasing the mind; you are trodding behind it. It increases the hunger and thirst in you by giving a little glimpse of joy here and there.

Individual peace, peace in society, collective peace ...starts from where we are ..Within each of us we can create that peace . . .

Look into the Vastness

Our head is stuck inside a drum, and we think that is the sky. It is so little, our universe. Take your head; lift up---look into that vastness of the creation.

Anything you do with patience, you are not wasting that time. Anything you do impatiently, with restless mind or restless body, know for sure---you are wasting time

Our energy is getting dissipated in the form of fears and desires. And it is the desire that makes you weak . .

Discomfort and Discipline

To bear that (which) is uncomfortable is discipline. It need not be uncomfortable all the time, but if it is uncomfortable, to be able to bear and move through it, you need a discipline.

Surrender Brings Peace

The moment there is surrender there is peace---that very second there is peace.

Meditation..
When you meditate, it sends out such a peaceful radiation, waves of light, and then those who left their body, who have reached the other shore, get benefited from that. It's like a laser beam, laser light, reaching the other side where it is dark. . . .

Feel Oneness

When you feel so much oneness with the Master that you don't feel, The Master is separate, I am separate; the Divine is separate, I am separate, that is Divine Love.

Resistance is Futile!

Relationships

When you blossom from within you, then your relationship will also blossom.

The Sign of Unity

Sign of uniting, or sign of yoga, is coming to your self, your mind settling into your being, your source, with your original nature.

Failure
If you fail, if it does not work, so what, so what! Next time it will work. Every failure is a step towards progress . .

Drop Looking for Proof

Constantly you are looking for proof of something. This is one mode of activity. Yoga is when you drop this. Then alone you can abide in the Self.

One With Cosmic Life

When thoughts are constrained and your mind has settled down peacefully in that meditative state, you have become one with the Divine. You are no more your small, little individual self, but you are one with the cosmic life, cosmic Being, one with God.

Stuck on a Viewpoint

Your bondage is when you have a certain viewpoint and you are stuck with that viewpoint. You have certain ideas, certain concepts how things should be and not always does it coincide with the creation, how things happen. Then you are stuck, you are cooking now, wrestling inside: "What should I do? This is not right! This is not right!"

Celebrate Life

Listen from Your Heart

We have this ability, but we have forgotten to listen from our heart. That is why we are tense and worried and dull and dry---we feel dry in life. The joy comes when we can listen from our heart.

Take Your Pick

You can spend the whole life worrying, grumbling, brooding over things and being miserable, or the same energy could be used to uplift you to unimaginable heights.

Jealousy

You can never feel jealous about yourself, can you? When something is not you, you feel jealous.

Perfection
You like perfection. Right? You are a perfectionist. If you leave a little space for imperfection then you will see things are different. Then you can have but anger will never have you!". . .

Sattvic Intellect

The sattvic intellect is one that just does the job joyfully and is unmindful of the results. Let things happen or not happen---either way they don't lose their enthusiasm.

The permanent temptation
The permanent temptation of life is to confuse dreams with reality.
But the permanent defeat of life comes when we SURRENDER our DREAMS to the REALITY.
So never do that..

Don't be in a hurry. Every bud takes its own time to bloom. Don't force a bud to become a flower. Don't open its petals. They are delicate; you will tear them. Wait.

Get Immersed

It's very important and very essential for everyone to at least take a week or two off in a whole year's time. And just be in this Presence, in this knowledge, get immersed in doing these exercises: pranayam and all that.

Love Sustains Bliss

Love can sustain the bliss.

Not everythng tat is faced can be changed but nothng can be changed until it is faced.
Always carry on ur Attempts to make ur DESTINY....

Cause of Fear

The transcendental principal, the fourth state of our consciousness, rules over all the other influences of all the planets or cosmic rays. So, if you could meditate, you nullify all the undesirable effects of the cosmic rays, the cosmos. Singing, chanting, meditating can eliminate all those undesirable effects.

You have been given the highest blessing, the most precious knowledge on this planet. You *are* the Divine Self; you are part of the Self. Walk with that confidence. It's not arrogance. It's, again, Love.. . .

Inner Connection With the Divine

Guru is inside you. Have an inner union with the guru. Inside, be with the guru. Krishna is inside you; God, the Divine is inside you---have an inner connection with the Divine.

The Experiencer

Self is not object of senses. Self is the experiencer of the object of senses.

Don't be angry at anybody for anything. Throw all your anger out. Throw the hatred out. What is there in life? Just love. Just love. Love.

WHO AM I?

the only relevant answer is silence.
You need to discard all answers in words, including
"I am Nothing" or
"I am the Cosmic Self" or
"I am the Self" -
and just stick to the question
"Who am I?".
All other answers are just thoughts. Thoughts can never be complete.
Only Silence is complete."

Weigh your words before you speak them out. They are pearls of your life. Don't throw them; don't lose them for nothing.

Again and Again

Again and again, withdraw your mind. If your mind is running all over the place, it is because of the objects of the senses. You want to look at something, or you want to hear about something.

Surrender and Freedom

There is no freedom at all without surrender, and when I surrender I get infinite freedom. The greater my surrender is, the greater my freedom, that much the load is taken off of me.

Come Back to the Source

Bring the mind, which is all over the place, back to its source.

What is Holding You Back

Drop all those divisions (of the mind), altogether. This is what is holding you back from enlightenment. This is what is holding you back from your very nature. Drop those right now.

Doing the Practice

Just like you learn to speak a language. Just like you learn to punch on the computer. Just like you learn to drive a car or a plane, you have to learn to drive back to the Self. This is the saadhana, this is the practice---is something that comes to you not just by nature, but by your effort.

Part of Me

You are Divine. You are part of me. I am part of you.

When you remember, then you are not in the moment; when you have forgotten, then you are in the moment. So be forgetful. Thats's a blessing.

Sacred Secret

Sacredness is the secret of the universe. In the womb of sacredness, creation happens. Consciousness is sacred.

Erased Karmas

Even in (Sudarshan) Kriya, when you do Kriya, at the end of the Kriya you get a glimpse of samadhi, for a few seconds, even. Sometimes you are aware, sometimes you are not aware of it. And at this moment all the "karmas," the latent impressions in the mind---they all get burned down and erased.

Whn beauty comes from the angle of desire,it creates feverishness and is responsible for action and tiredness and finally destroys BEAUTY.....

Worry
Worry is a product of loving something that is not permanent, that is not eternal

Craving and Bondage

The craving for sense objects is bondage. Their existence seems to have given you a little pleasure, so it binds you. Now you crave for it, and it gives you more and more pain.

You are Happiness

You *are* that happiness, so *be* that happiness.

Karma
Don't worry too much about karma, do your dharma, your duty.

Freedom

Freedom is what? Lack of craving. Detachment from the objects of the senses.

Restricting Awareness

One single thought in the mind can restrict your awareness, the totality of awareness. How big is your mind? How vast is your life? There are so many things in life. One small, insignificant thought, insignificant thing, can clog and cloud your whole awareness.

Desire
Desire means projection to next moment.
Its simply means being unaware of the infinity,that you dont know urself...

You are important
You are as important in this creation as God, not less important.

Waves are inspiring...not bcoz they rise n fall....
but bcoz each time they fall....they never fail to RISE again...
Have a rising life Ahead...!!!

Pleasure and Pain

Freedom from the pleasure is the real pleasure. Pain does not bind you; it is the pleasure that binds you. And the bondage is painful. If you are bound, you are not bound by misery, you are bound by your craving, your pleasure.

God is calling you every moment.

When God takes somethng away frm our hands, he is not punishin us...but merely emptying our hand to recieve somethng better....

In life, any time you become stiff---and there you get a slap! Become soft; smile there. Any stiffness, life just smoothens it out, evens it out, in you...

Begging

There is a throne, why don't you sit in that throne? It is for you. You are walking around with a torn cloth, in a shabby state, begging for things that anyway belong to you. Stop being a beggar. And craving is nothing but being like a beggar.

Now.
Now. Now. Now. Cultivate this habit of dropping the past. Then you can smile

The smile on your face
The smile on your face which nobody can take away is a sign of success. This can come only through spirituality.

Breath is the Link

Breath is the link between your body and your spirit and your mind.

The Problem with Choices

The moment there is choice it drops you off of joy, it drops you off of peace.

False Promises

This is the nature of sense objects: they promise pleasure to begin with and even give you also a little taste, but then leave you with pain and suffering.

Celebrate Life. Care for others and share whatever you have with those less fortunate than you. Broaden your vision, for the whole world belongs to you.

Bad and Worse

Where is the choice? The choice is only between the bad and the worse. When you realize this you'll drop both those conflicting thoughts and relax---the awareness becomes choiceless. Choiceless-ness leads to confusionless state of mind. Choiceless awareness is the only joyful state, a peaceful state, a state without confusion.

Involvement

Involvement in the seeing of the seer, of the one who sees, getting lost in the scenes outside is the cause for bondage. Not getting lost, the mind is free.

Illusions

You build a world in your mind only through your intentions, your own thought processes. You go on building a castle: what the other person is thinking about you---they may not even think about you anything. You may simply not exist in other person's consciousness, for they are worried about themselves. But you build a big castle about what they are thinking about you in your mind

Mind that has no hesitation, no anticipation, is meditation.

The more we open ourselves, the more room we will have for God to fill us

Everything is Just a Thought

Wake up and realize this is all made up of thoughts, just thoughts, just thoughts. Your appreciation of beauty is a thought, your aversion to an object that is ugly is a thought. Your craving or aversion is nothing but a passing thought in the mind. Realize this is just a thought and you will be free.

If you are just enthusiasm, it can be directed in anything, anywhere, all directions. That is how multi-dimensional growth happens within you. Fullness of consciousness blossoms in all aspects....

Be joyful, and at the same time, be total aware.

Celebration

Spirituality is a celebration, a continuous celebration.

Strength is Wakefulness

The more you are loaded with desires, the poorer you are, the weaker you are. Strength is wakefulness, and in wakefulness there is no desire. Remember this

Getting Baked

Everything is changing. And this is all there only to heat you up, to bake you. You are baked in joy, and you are baked in sorrow. You are baked in this event, and you are baked in that event. So everything in the world bakes you, heats you up. And if you put your finger deeper into it, you will get burned. So move lightly.

Mental Pain

Your concept in the mind that things should be a certain way causes pain in the mind. The cause of distress is set concepts in the mind.

Influencing All Levels

When you meditate, you are not just bringing a harmony within yourself, but you are influencing the subtle layers of creation, the subtle bodies of all the different levels of existence in the creation.

Desire Destroys Beauty

When beauty comes from the angle of desire, it creates feverishness; and the feverishness is responsible for action and tiredness, and it destroys the beauty completely.

Seeing God

You can live God. You can be God. But you cannot "see" God, perceive God as an object.

Only You

On one level there are individuals, everybody is different---they're young, old, intelligent, wise, and dull, and all types. On one level we have different types, but on a deeper level there is only you. Only you, nothing else.

To probe into the deeper levels of the subconscious, unconscious mind, your mantra needs to be kept secret.

Life is too short.. Life is Eternal

The realization that life is very short brings dynamism in your life. Unwanted things will fall off as well as distractions, procrastination falls away.
When you are expecting a result, or when it comes to enjoying the fruit of your actions, good deeds or even blessings, know that life is Eternal.

Dreams of Pleasure

Every pleasure has been so momentary, has left your hand empty, depleted, drained. And every pleasure has brought you more depression, sorrow, pulled you down. But yet there is a hope of some pleasure, some unknown, unseen pleasure. Dreaming of a pleasure---that makes you weak, that holds you back.

Beyond Ego

"Ego" means "I am. I am somebody." But beyond ego is Being.

100% Comfortable

A state in which you feel absolutely comfortable, 100% comfort, that is meditation.

Beauty as Wakefulness

Just one spark of beauty in wakefulness, in the awakened, manifests as knowledge, as wisdom. That is satwa (purity of consciousness).

Mistakes Out of Tension

See how a mistake has happened out of tension. Knowing that a mistake has happened, if you think, "It is *my* mistake," then you are not releasing the tension, you are doubling the tension.

Missing Devotion

It is very painful---once you have had a taste of devotion, and then the devotion is not there, you feel, "Oh, something is missing!"

Maintaining Equanimity

Take life not serious. If you take life very serious, then you are bound to be disturbed. The only way you can maintain your equanimity is to take it as a play, as a game, and not take anything too serious.

Hankering

Don't hanker for an ideal situation in the mind all the time. That very hankering creates an impression in the mind.

Aversions

Your taste is nothing that cannot be changed. Your aversions are that which bind you, which robs the freedom from you. Stand back and look at them.

Repose

Desire is hustle and bustle. Desire is agitation, activity. When all that is dropped: peaceful reposing in the inner-most core of your Being. Repose---as though you are finished, dead, gone.

Soothing Peace

In joy, in peace, in that soothing---very soothing---inner state you will find the happiness.

Uncertainty

You can be at ease with the uncertainty of the world when you realize the certainty of consciousness. Often people do just the opposite.
Certainty about the relative world creates dullness. Uncertainty about the Self creates fear.
Uncertainty about matter brings certainty about consciousness.

What is Holding You Back

Drop all those divisions (of the mind), altogether. This is what is holding you back from enlightenment. This is what is holding you back from your very nature. Drop those right now.

The Washing Machine

Our body is like a washing machine, Our mind is like cloth. Love is like pure water. Knowledge is detergent. Each lifetime is one wash cycle.

Similarly, you will have many more births until you stop repeating the mistakes that you have made.

Drop the Past

Now. Now. Now. Cultivate this habit of dropping the past. Then you can smile.

Sorrow indicates:
1. your attachment to negative qualities and

Soothing Peace

Hollow and Empty

Creation is all anxious to fulfill your desire when you become hollow and empty.

Unseen Hand

How can we not see this? That everything in the body is happening by itself. Everything in creation is happening by itself. The flowers are blossoming, the leaves are becoming green, the petals are becoming yellow, the sun is rising, setting---how could one be so blind not to see an "unseen hand" behind this whole creation?

Feverishness

The feverishness in us destroys the joy.

Restricting Awareness

One single thought in the mind can restrict your awareness, the totality of awareness. How big is your mind? How vast is your life? There are so many things in life. One small, insignificant thought, insignificant thing, can clog and cloud your whole awareness.

You see, all the problems in the world are created by those who want "perfection."

The Divine Loves You

The Divine loves you very dearly, and in all manners, in all respects.

Drop it!

Be light. Smile. Drop. Learn the tendency to drop and smile and move through.

Religion & Politics

The role of religion is to make one righteous and loving, and politics means caring for people and their welfare. When religion and politics dont coexist, then you have corrupt politicians and pseudo-religious leaders.

Hollow and Empty

Creation is all anxious to fulfill your desire when you become hollow and empty.

Burning with Desire

We burn with desires. And this burning in desires does not allow you to relax into the peace of your Being. Unless you let go of them, you can never find peace, you can never rest in Divine Love.

Guru is the Goal

Guru is nothing but wisdom and love.

Being with the Guru means spontaneous integration of life and wisdom.

Thank Superficially

Thanking means there are two. If you are deeply thankful, it means you deeply feel the seperation. Deep within there is no need to thank, because there is oneness. But superficially you can thank. Thanks are like ripples on the surface of the water.

Positive Thinking?

The cause of depression in the world is ""positive thinking."" You think positive, but deep inside you believe that there is a negative. The more you try to force that positive thought, the more the negative thought goes deep somewhere within.

Arresting the Mind

A true guru is not interested in making followers, but he is concerned for the growth of the person. All his concern is for how well this mind, this flirting mind, could be arrested and established in its source, this mind which is so blind, seeking here and there, here and there, could be put into itself and be made to open its eye to itself.

That Space in Us:

That space in us is life.

One Whole

The entire universe is one whole; and, when someone drops their holding onto limited boundaries, then what they gain is the entire universe.

Doubt and Trust

The possibility of doubting shows you the strength of your trust. When you do not have a chance to doubt, then how do you know how deep is your trust? You do not know.

Plentitude

Feel the plentitude---feel that there is plenty. The Divine has provided you a lot, and He will provide you much more. Why be tense about that?

When you live in Love, you become so mysterious! That is Govinda. 'Govind' means one who has hidden knowledge, or one who cannot be explained in words, is beyond

Don't Worry!

You don’t have to worry; your life is not a big burden, a big responsibility for the Divine. It can take care of you very well. Don’t be concerned and worried about money so much. Be filled with love, be filled with gratitude, get rid of the fear in you by being in love.

Abhyasa (spiritual practice)

Coming back to the center, to the Seer, this moment---again and again and again---is abhyasa.

Different degrees of expressions

Beauty has three levels: indication, expression, and exposure. Spirituality indicates, art expresses, and science exposes.

Reality

No one ever feels that one is going to die. You know why? Because that is the reality!

The Main Thing

The main thing is to experience that Something that doesn't change, that Something that doesn't die, that Something that doesn't decay in you.

No Answers

In questions, you are looking for an answer. In wonder, there is no answer.

Fleeting Thoughts

Many times, about what you want you are not clear, because you have never looked into yourself. You are swayed away by fleeting thoughts and fleeting emotions, fleeting desires.

Space for Attraction

Give some space for attraction. When attraction dies out, you will feel love has also died. A space is needed for attraction. And that attraction matures and becomes love; and the love matures and becomes devotion.

Knowledge of death will improve the quality of your life.

Tragic Cycle

Offering

Look at what you have.

Just look at what you have. Focus on it---because where you put your energy that increases in life.

Finite and Infinite

The human nervous system is so designed that it can exhibit the totality of consciousness. Living in a finite body and expressing infinity is the possibility of human life.

Look into the motives behind your actions. Often you don't go for things you really want. You go to things because others would want you to or because of what others would say, think, or do about it.

Feeling Free

If you feel you are free, you are free. If you feel you are bound, you are bound.

Limited Senses and Unlimited Desire

Actually, the real craving of the mind, of the being, is for Divine Love, for unlimited joy. Every soul is craving for unlimited joy, joy which has no boundaries, but senses cannot provide them with what they are searching for through the senses. The capacity to enjoy for our senses is limited. But the desire is unlimited.

Filled with Honey

Like a honeycomb is all filled with honey, the body -- -all the holes in the body are filled with mind, or consciousness. And the nature of that is joy is Love.

Where is Heaven

How far to heaven? Just open your eyes and look. You are in heaven.

Joy and Craving

Something gives you great joy, then the craving for the great joy doesn't allow you to rest peacefully.

Divine Love

Divine Love is greater than any action or any seva.

Keep your mind Free

If you do good for people, you are doing it out of your nature. Forget
about how they behave, what their reaction towards you is. It's up to
them. Let them carry their cross. Keep your mind free. . .

Not the Body

The life of a fish is in the water, not in the body.

Wash Your Mind

You clean your windows, you clean your tables, you wash your clothes, but you forget to wash this mind.

Love and Faith

Love transcends logic. Love depends on faith. You cannot say, "I have a lot of love,
but I have no faith." It is impossible. Love carries along with it, faith. And Divine Love carries infinite faith.

Involvement

Being Against Others

Bubbling Enthusiasm

Just be. Just enthusiasm. When you do an action without a "vasuna," without a latent impression of "I, mine," then you become the embodiment of bubbling enthusiasm. Like small children, three or four month old kids, have you seen them? Very enthusiastic. That enthusiasm is coming out of every cell of the body.

Our very nature

Enlightenment is not an achievement. Rather, getting rid of ignorance
is an achievement, getting rid of all the stresses and tension. Because
our very nature is enlightenment. That's why "human" and "Divine" are
not two things. "Human" is the outer skin and "Divine" is the

The Other Shore

When you recognize the Divinity in the world, then there is nothing that can take the peace or love from you. You have crossed to the other shore.

Can't Be Measured

The Existence cannot be measured through your little, small, tiny intellect.

A Master

If a Master is not hollow and empty, he is no Master at all.

All that is precious in life is a secret. Love is a secret. Life is a secret. The world is a secret. You feelings, emotions are a secret. You are the biggest secret.

Little and Big

Within this small body, you are able to experience the infinite space.

Stuck on a Viewpoint

Your bondage is when you have a certain viewpoint and you are stuck with that viewpoint. You have certain ideas, certain concepts how things should be and not always does it coincide with the creation, how things happen. Then you are stuck, you are cooking now, wrestling inside: "What should I do? This is not right! This is not right!"

The Technique for Depression

There is a technique to get depressed -- you want to know? Just sit and think only about yourself: "What about me? What about me?" I tell you, you will get thoroughly depressed.

Your Mind

Your mind is a flow. Your mind is a continuum that is ever changing, ever changing.

Sadhana - Spiritual practices

PEACE is your nature, yet you remain restless.
FREEDOM is your nature, yet you remain in bondage.
HAPPINESS is your nature, yet you become miserable for some reason or other
CONTENTMENT is your nature, yet you continue to reel in desires.
BENEVOLENCE is your nature, yet you do not reach out.
moving towards your nature is sadhana.
Sadhana is becoming what you truly are!
Your true nature is Shiva
And Shiva is peace, infinity, beauty and the non-dual One.
Ratri means "to take refuge" Shivaratri is taking refuge in Shiva.

Committed to Truth

A person who is committed to truth---who is committed to what is, this presence of Being---for him success comes easily, follows. Not that he will not encounter failures. He may encounter failures, but he will again act.

Karma

Action comes out of conscious decision. Reaction comes out of impulsiveness. Impulsiveness creates a chain of karma.
Through knowledge and devotion, transcend all karma and be free.

Fame

This feverishness of fame, of pride, of social recognition is immaturity. Just wake up and see there is nothing much in it. It�s an empty bowl.

Is there any end to desires?

All these different desires for experiences, for living, for knowing -- they arise and they get fulfilled and they move. Is there anybody who has not fulfilled any desire? Or is there anybody who has fulfilled all the desires? Is there any end for it?

Be Aware

Be joyful, and at the same time, be totally aware.

Drop it!

Be light. Smile. Drop. Learn the tendency to drop and smile and move through.

The Company One Keeps

That you are not a computer. But we have been given the understanding that
being emotional is not good, that it is not normal.

Be Passionate for the Highest

If you are passionate, be passionate for the highest, the most wonderful, the most beautiful. Be passionate for this entire creation-everything is so beautiful.

As long as there is ego, there is no divine love; and when there is Divine Love, the ego � there is no sign of it.

Feverishness for Recognition

This feverishness of fame, of pride, of social recognition is immaturity. Just wake up and see there is nothing much in it. It's an empty bowl

Hollow and Empty

Creation is all anxious to fulfill your desire when you become hollow and empty.

Nature Knows Best

See how many desires you have had, and how many desires were not fulfilled, and how many desires you feel that way: when it was not fulfilled, it was good, "It was best for me." Don't you see this? Some desires which were not fulfilled, it was good for you. So, Nature knows what is best for you

Feverishness and Creativity

When feverishness clogs your head, your mind is not clear; a poetry cannot dawn on that. If there is feverishness, any creative thought will not come.

Contentment and Perfection

Be contented with what you have, and you will see: perfection comes in you, sidhi comes in you. If you hanker for sidhi and hanker, hanker, hanker---sidhi does not come. You think you will get satisfied when you have sidhi, but it's the other way around. When you are satisfied, you'll get sidhi.

When Doubts Arise

When doubts arise in you: fast, meditate, do pranayam, and do prayers, and see whether the doubt will remain.

Faith and Doing

Do anything---if there is no shradhaa (faith), nothing is going to benefit you. And if you do nothing and there is shradhaa, that itself becomes saadhana for you, becomes a practice.

Getting Stuck

For a few moments in our life, we become intense, we become 100%. Our mind, consciousness, becomes like one integrated glow. And these moments are very precious things.

Desire Makes You Weak

Our energy is getting dissipated in the form of fears and desires, fears and desires. And it is the desire that makes you weak.

Unlimited Joy

This is quite natural: your mind is not satisfied with limited joy. It wants unlimited joy. The desire of every mind is to go to the source where it is unlimited joy.

Feverishness Blocks Love

Desire is that feverishness which blocks the mind. As long as there is feverishness, there is no Love.

Hankering Postpones Perfection

Our hankering is always for what we don't have, and there will be always something that we do not have. So your hankering continues on, and postpones your perfection.

Desire is Unawareness

Desire means the present is not sufficient enough; it is not okay the way it is now, this moment. Desire means projection to the next moment. Desire simply means being unaware of the Infinity. Desire simply means you don’t know yourself.

Desire is a Product of Sleep

Every desire arises from the sleeping state. Desire is a product of sleep, unconsciousness. Just sleep itself cannot produce desire, but something along with sleep. A spark of beauty, just a spark of beauty in the unconsciousness, creates desire.

Precious Secrets

All that is precious in life is a secret. Love is a secret. Life is a secret. The world is a secret. You feelings, emotions are a secret. You are the biggest secret.

Is there any end to desires?

Unending Desires

Your mind is tired, is burned down through its galloping on desire after desire---it's so tired! Just turn back and see all the desires you have achieved. Have they given you rest? No. They've only created a few more desires in you.

Agitation

A mind without agitation is meditation.

Become Free

Before this earth eats you up, become free---free from this feverishness that is gripping your mind, free from this craving for happiness.

True Unity

Existing as though you are not, living as though you are not there at all: hollow and empty - pure, empty space - that is when one says, "Let Thy will be done. Let Thy will be done. Let Thy will be done." That is true unity between the little small mind and the infinite mind, the cosmic mind, the universal mind.

Harsh Words

Do not speak any harsh word. Let not any harsh word come out of your mouth to anyone, for the Divine dwells in every heart. Do not hurt with your words, for the Divine dwells in every heart.

You are the goal. You are the past, present and future.

Applause

If ten thousand people applaud you---so what? You think you will be in their mind, in their attention, forever? No. You will get big applause, and they clap, and they go away. And, the same people, some other time may talk ill of you, too.

Too Much

The same thing which gave you pleasure is now making you suffer. If you are forced to eat twenty apple pies you will hold your head and say, "Oh my God! I want relief from this. I want to get away from this! Enough is enough!"

Abiding in the Seer

Whenever you experience joy, ecstasy, bliss, happiness in life, knowingly or unknowingly you are abiding in the form of the Seer, in the nature of the Seer. Otherwise, at other times you are with different activities of the mind. You become one with different activities of the mind.

Renunciation

God himself has not renounced this world. How can you renounce it? It�s an insult to God if you want to renounce this world.

Forgiveness shields and protects your mind, your spirit, from being violent.

Honoring Secrets

When you honor a secret, you mind does not jump forward, it is stabilized, it flowers, it blossoms.

You are the source of joy

You are the source of joy. You are the source of love.

Change

Feelings change, thoughts change, ideas change, body is undergoing changes all the time. But the thirst deep within us is for something that is not changing, that is eternal, that is always, that is the same.

You don't have to worry
You don't have to worry; your life is not a big burden, a big responsibility for the Divine. It can take care of you very well. Don't be concerned and worried about money so much. Be filled with love, be filled with gratitude, get rid of the fear in you by being in love.

Transformative

Awareness, understanding, experiencing the life energy down inside, can bring huge transformation.

Divine Love

The divine love is greater than any action.

If you are loving, then you are welcomed everywhere in the world. If you can feel and be one with people anywhere you go, then people are ready to do anything for you.

Enthusiasm

The sign of life is enthusiasm. The sign of success is smile and joy.

Expand Your World

Expand your world and your vasanas (cravings) will drop away. The world is so big! Be open to new experiences.

Compartments in the Mind

You have got big compartments in your mind, innumerable compartments made in your mind. So, you immediately put everything, your experiences in life, into compartments. You make concepts and get stuck there.

Hard to get

When an attraction becomes a little difficult to attain, then love begins to happen more. And when it becomes a little difficult to capture love, possess love, then devotion starts happening. Just reflect on this.

SILENCE
Some questions can only be answered in silence. Silence is the goal of all answers. If the answer does not silence the mind, it is no answer.

To the question "Who am I?" the only relevant answer is silence. You need to discard all the answers in words, including "I am nothing" or "I am the cosmic self" or "I am the Self." Just remain with the question "who am I?" All other answers are just thoughts and thoughts can never be complete.

Only silence is complete.

Attend to the Source

When the Source is attended to, all your other abilities flower automatically, spontaneously

God is not�

God is not the object of sight; you can never see God. God is not an object of hearing. God is not an object of smelling or tasting. God cannot be perceived through your senses, nor through the mind.

This Drama

What is it you are hanging on to? How long will you continue this play, this drama? What is happening? Hmm?

Divine Love

As long as there is ego, there is no divine love; and when there is Divine Love, the ego there is no sign of it.

Every moment

Offer every moment into the Divine.

When You are Disturbed

Do you do this? Any day that you are disturbed, instead of yelling and screaming and shouting at other people here and there, blaming other people, have you ever said, "Oh, I want to do more chanting, and let me sit. Today I feel disturbed so let me go and love more people around me." Have you ever done that?

Unconditional Love

The breath moves into a saint as well as into a wicked person. The breath makes no distinction, it moves. Unconditionally it loves you, supports you, holds you in its arms, because it is all Shiva. The entire creation is "Shiva tatwa" -- innocence.

Surrender is not…

Surrender is not an act. It's not again and again trying to bow down and saying, "Oh, I am surrendering; I am surrendering." Saying that to yourself a hundred times---that is not surrender.

Doubt and Trust

The possibility of doubting shows you the strength of your trust. When you do not have a chance to doubt, then how do you know how deep is your trust? You do not know.

Surrender is…

Open your hands up---that is surrender. It is your very nature.

Sacred Secret

Sacredness is the secret of the universe. In the womb of sacredness, creation happens. Consciousness is sacred.

Only You

On one level there are individuals, everybody is different---they're young, old, intelligent, wise, and dull, and all types. On one level we have different types, but on a deeper level there is only you. Only you, nothing else.

Memory

What has happened in our memory, in our mind? A memory or an event getting connected to emotion, getting connected to a sensation---this becomes a cycle.

Center Focus

If the center focus of our life is spiritual growth, is peace, then all other things will be around that. Your first and foremost commitment in life is to be with the Truth, to evolve in Truth.

The Gift of Giving

When you give things to people, it brings back something to you---that is some good vibrations. And that makes you happy. If you are very unhappy, and that day you give something, give some gifts to somebody who is needy, you will see your consciousness will change, shift.

Seeing God

You can live God. You can be God. But you cannot "see" God, perceive God as an object.

Bubbles on the Surface of the Infinite

Rise above the dualities, the opposites. See this whole world as the bubbles on the surface of water. See people as bubbles on the surface of the Brahman, of the Infinity...Water bubbles up, rises up. Like that, everybody is rising and having their own games and plays and dissolving back into the Infinite.

Limited Knowledge

Suffering is a product of limited knowledge.

Feverishness

The feverishness in us destroys the joy.

Enthusiasm

The sign of life is enthusiasm. The sign of success is smile and joy.

Immortal

The Being is immortal, the Consciousness is immortal, the Guru is immortal, the rishi, maharishi, is immortal. And so also, you are immortal and eternal.

The Highest Blossoming

What is the highest blossoming of consciousness? That consciousness which is neither in the past nor in the future nor in the present, but is a witness to all three. Or you can say, that consciousness which contains the infinite past, the infinite future, and is totally available in the present moment.

Sit and Be With It

Remember those wonderful moments you have had. Sit and be with it. In that very memory your entire Being gets back to that state.

Overshadowed?

You have just been overshadowed by the events in your mind---that is all that has happened. A cloud has covered the sun. What can any cloud do to the sun? Can it destroy it? Remember your nature. You are the only Soul, only Being.

Take life not serious. If you take life very serious, then you are bound to be disturbed. The only way you can maintain your equanimity is to take it as a play, as a game, and not take anything too serious.

If you manipulate words, its a lie;
If you play on words, its a joke;

Is there any end to desires?

All these different desires for experiences, for living, for knowing, they arise and they get fulfilled and they move. Is there anybody who has not fulfilled any desire? Or is there anybody who has fulfilled all the desires? Is there any end for it?

Seva is Savior

Seva brings merit;
Merit allows you to go deeper in meditation;
Meditation brings back your smile .. :-)

One whole

The entire universe is one whole; and, when someone drops their holding onto limited boundaries, then what they gain is the entire universe.

Wholeness

Everyone is like one's own finger; everyone is an inseparable part of the

Lingering Desires

As long as some desires linger in your mind, your mind cannot be at total rest.

You are with the Master to share the joy of the Master, to share the consciousness of the Master. For this, you have to empty your cup of what is already in it.

The Master is ready to share. You have only to share from your side.

No more suffering

For one who has awakened in knowledge, there is no more suffering

Ego is only an Atom

The "I" or ego in you is a tiny atom...

When this atom, this ego, is associated with the material world, it becomes mundane.
When its associated with the spirit, it becomes divine.
It becomes Shakti when associated with the Being, the Self.

Arms Open

Stand there with your arms open and say, "What storms may come--let them. I am here." You grow out of them. You become bigger.

True love will not bring sadness, sorrow, misery, problems. But with vasanas (cravings) a tail is always attached---pain, problems, misery, discomfort.

In your innermost Self---in its purity and clarity---you are not different from God.

Losing Innocence

Your judgement is an impression in your mind. You don't want to be judged, but you judge others. But whatever you do, if you judge, that same reflects back into yourself, and the innocence is lost. The main purpose, the main thing of why you should not judge [is] because your innocence will be lost.

Whatever You Desire

There is some power, someone who is really caring for you---not just someone: there is only One in the whole universe. That One in the Universe is caring and taking care. Relax; just be peaceful.

Not mine, not his

See a mistake as a mistake, not as "my" or "his" mistake. "My" means guilt; "his" means anger.

All That Comes

Take with both your hands all that comes. Don't say, "It is not possible for me." With this very thought, "It is not possible," you are resisting and that is the cause for making those storms stay for long periods.

Insurance Policy

Insurance for your soul is: have compassion at other's mistake, or else you are bound to get angry at them.

Save Your Own Mind

When you look at someone else's mistake, you should laugh at it and feel compassionate towards it; then you are able to save your mind.

Don't Take it Seriously!

Everything in this universe is dynamic. There is nothing that is static. Even the mountains appear to be static, but they are not static, they are all dynamic. Every atom is dynamic in this universe.
